Day Three

Niagara Falls History Museum

Sunday August 10, 2031

After we spent a good part of the evening at the hotel and James taking care of me, we decided to have a relaxing Sunday. We started off by having dinner at the hotel again and spending part of the night watching a movie on TV before going to bed. We took advantage of sleeping in late Sunday morning. Also we had breakfast in bed for a change.

"Does this feel better than going out to see Niagara Falls?" James asked as he drank coffee.

"Yes! Are we going to stay in bed all day?" I asked.

"I was thinking we can enjoy one of the museums or other things that Niagara Falls has to offer." James answered while eating his breakfast.

"What do you have in mind, Big guy?" I playfully asked.

"One of the museums around town or something from our list that does not involve water. What do you think?"

"Um, museum sounds good. What museums are here?" I asked.

"I took the liberty of searching for some and this is what showed up." He said and handed me his cell phone. I saw several that I've never heard of and then saw one on Google list. Also some casinos, parks and more museums.

"What are you planning on for our other honeymoon?" I asked.

"I thought walking around downtown Niagara Falls or going to one of the wineries here. I think they would be a good break from the falls." James said.

"I like your idea! How far is the museum from here?"

"We have to drive into Canada to see the museum. We better take our passports with us." He responded as we ate our breakfast.

"Spending a day in Canada sounds like fun! We need something different." I said as I finished my breakfast.

"Yeah, maybe we can explore around the area and see what Canada is like."

"It's going to be more like what we see here or in California. The people are nice too but I'm talking from experience." I said.

"Do you know if they drive on the right side of the road or like the British do in England?" He asked.

"Good question. I believe on the right side since we road in that pilot's car for the helicopter tour." I said.

"Maybe you should drive when we're there. I don't want to get into trouble driving in Canada." James said as he got dressed for our day.

"I can do that. I have my license, so I better take it as well." I said after I was done with breakfast. "We can call Scott and our kids when we're done. I'm sure they would love to hear how we like it in Niagara Falls." I added.

"Yeah. Please leave out what happened at the Cave of the Winds. They know what mommy is going through. They don't need a reminder." James said as he sat on the bed.

"Yes. You're right about that. We can tell them about Thor!" I eagerly said.

"They will be excited to hear Thor's good news." James said.

"Yeah, also Scott will know!" I said as I stood up to get dressed. Last night I took a shower after sleeping good.

"How do you feel now? I know last night you were a little sluggish but had a good appetite for dinner." James asked.

"I feel much better now. I think I just needed more than good sleep and to be away from all that water." I remarked.

"Yeah, you were speaking in your sleep and saying things like keep me away from water or no, I don't want water. You got frantic in your sleep and tossed and turned. You even woke me up with a nightmare and I had to calm you." James described while telling me what he experienced with me.
