Chapter 3: a baby?

Back to y/n pov:
We were all sat in central perk just talking about the most random things per usual.
"What you guys don't understand is kissing for us is as important as ANY part of it." Monica tried explaining to the boys.

"Pfft yeah right" Joey said. "Wait your serious?"
"Oh yeah." I said.
"YOU TOO??" Chandler shouted.

"Everything you need to know is in that first kiss." Rachel said.
"Definitely"

"Yeah I think kissing from us is like an opening act you know? I mean it's like the stand up comedian you have to sit through before pink Floyd comes out."
"Yeah and it's not like we don't like the comedian it's that's not why we bought the ticket." Ross explained.

The boys just nodded.
"The big problem is though,after the concert is over no matter how great the show was you girls are always looking for the comedian right? I mean we're in the car ,we're fighting traffic...basically just trying to stay awake."

"Yeah,well  word of advice I'd bring back the comedian otherwise next time your gonna find yourself sitting at home listening to that album all by yourself." I said laughing.

"Oh I think this is the episode of threes company where there's some kind of misunderstanding" chandler kinda guessed as we set in front of the tv set in Monica and Rachel's apartment.
"Then I've already seen this one!" Phoebe yelled and then the tv shut off.
"Are you kidding! I wanted to watch it." I said.
"Whose little ball of paper is this?" Monica asked whilst she was cleaning the apartment up for the millionth time today.

"Uh that would be mine. See I wrote a note to myself and then I realised I didn't need it,so I balled it up and..." he looked up at an angry looking Monica. "Now I wish I was dead."

She slowly started to pick up the small pillow to fluff it.
"Monica you know you've already fluffed that right?"
She just glared at pheebs.
"But um I mean you can fluff it."

"Look I'm sorry guys I just don't wanna give them anymore ammunition than they have already."

"Yes and we all know how cruel a parent can get about the flatness of a child's pillow." Chandler said as one of his jokes.

"Ew ew ew ew ewwww."

"What?" I asked.
"Ugly naked guy got a thigh master." He said walking away from the window.

We all had disgusted looks on our faces.
"Has anybody seen my engagement ring?" Rachel walked into the room in a hurry.

"Yeah it's beautiful" phoebe said.
"Oh god,oh god,oh god."

She started looking under the pillows messing up what Monica just cleaning.

"No! Look don't touch that!"
"Oh,like I wasn't dreading tomorrow enough having to give it back to him. 'Oh hi Barry remember me? I'm the girl in the veil who stomped on you heart in front of your entire family!' Oh god and now I have to return the ring without the ring." Rachel said in an upset manner.
"It's okay rach we'll find it ,won't we guys?" I said whilst pulling Rachel into a hug.
"Yeah!" They all said
"Alright when did ya have it last" Joey asked.
"Probably right before she lost it"

"I know I had it this morning and I know I had it in the kitchen when I was with..." she paused.
"You didn't" monica said

"Oh. I am so sorry"

"I gave you one job!!" Monica said picking up the lasagne.

"Now Monica you know that's not how you look for an engagement ring in a lasagne." Chandler stated.

"I just I can't do it." She said walking away

Chandler and Joey exchanged look with each other before then sticking their hand into the lasagne.
"Hey! I want in on this!" I yelled.

We kept looking through it before hearing a knock at the door.
We all lifted our hands out of the dish.

"Hi." Ross said silently
"Wow that is not a happy hi" chandler said sarcastically.

"Carols pregnant."
"WHAT" I shouted so loud I bet the whole of Manhattan could hear me.

"Ooh I found the ring!" Phoebe said.
"Kinda puts that whole pillow thing into perspective." Chandler says jokingly.
"Well now how do you fit into this whole thing?" Rachel interjects.

"Well,carol says she and Susan want me to be involved,but if I'm not comfortable with it I don't have to."

"So what are you gonna do?" Monica asks.
"I mean to be fair the biggest part of your job is done" I joked.

"I don't know but no matter what I do I'm still gonna be a father."
