Chapter 8-jealousy

We were all chilling and I was just reading a new magazine that I had recently bought outside where they sold all the newspapers and magazines. Then we heard the phone starting to ring and Joey decided to answer it.
"Ross,Julie for you."

He then tries to pass the phone to him but fails.
"Oh hey Julie!" Ross said enthusiastically,I swear I feel like I've never had so much hatred towards one person.
I flipped through my magazine out of spite,I honestly couldn't look at him and I know it's so bad to say because he's my friend but recently I have really gained feelings for him.
"No you hang up,no you,you hang up" I heard Ross repeating in my ear as he sat next me.
I just continued to flip through the magazine not looking at the pages carefully,at this point I was getting annoyed.
And again "you hang up,no you hang up,no you,no you" so I decided to grab the phone from his hand to hang up for him to save him the trouble.
I gave him a small smile and passed it back to him like nothing happened.
"Oh sorry I thought you were talking to me" I told him
"Oh it's okay,I'll just call her back!"
"Yeah you go and do that !"

Eventually I walked over to the girls and chandler who were sitting at the table talking about I don't know just stuff.
"I thought I could do this but I can'tt,you know 2 weeks ago he was just Ross now he's rosss" i say in a jumpy tone. Monica tried to comfort me but god I have no idea what to do anymore.
"Yeah I gotta go" i tell them as I walk up to grab my stuff leaving the apartment.
"I don't know about you guys but something's definitely wrong with her." Chandler suggests.
