After the sarcastic eldritch robot, GLaDOS showed me around the facility much to her displeasure, I finally sat down in a lobby and we started talking.

She told me the story of 'Chell' the girl I saw leaving the facility. According to her, she was an and I quote, 'Dangerous Mute Lunatic'. I couldn't help but laugh, even though it annoyed her to no end.

After the story, I told her my part. About how I was in a different reality but was able to get to another one, my small journey, and so on.

She was mostly interested in my exoskeleton arm and the talk about traversing between dimensions.

Of course, after hearing the 'portal fluid' consisted mostly of moon dust, I was starting to get excited. Hehe.

By the way, the entire facility was absolutely MASSIVE!

Apparently, I hadn't even passed through half of it...

After setting aside our differences and concentrating on working together, even though she made a sarcastic remark every fricking minute... we started building a Dimensional Portal.

...

In a large white laboratory area, in front of a circular metallic frame, me and Glados stood staring.

Pipes were pumping portal fluid to the sides of the frame with electricity surging all around.

The frame had two large machines supporting it. The lights were flickering.

Lasers concentrating on the fluid all turned towards the center of the frame.

"Alright, boot it up Glados!" I shouted in excitement while pointing toward the frame.

Several lights started beaming and the frame started to shake.

I backed away slightly. While the two robot helpers of Glados were standing behind me, trying to shield themselves.

Yeah, a human made out of meat is definitely more durable than metal, continue to do that.

I rolled my eyes.

"All systems nominal. Proceeding dimensional rift." spoke Glados in a voice sounding more monotone than usual.

The frame started to spark and shook the ground with a shockwave as the light bent inside, swirling like a whirlpool to form a white liquid-like surface.

"Fenominal. Creating a Dimensional Portal was theorized to be impossible, but we did it in less than a day." she spoke. It seems as if even she couldn't believe her eyes, or eye, or sensor, or whatever.

Of course, we didn't know the exact coordinates of my base on Earth so we had to teleport at random. We could solve this by building another door on the other side and linking the two.

Glados picked up one of the robots behind me, the taller one, and nudged them toward the portal.
