"What did you get from the girl?" I asked.

"I have run a full scan on her body and even her mind. She is a 'robot', but it seems that she somehow hosts a human soul." Glados replied.

The black-haired girl was lying in the middle of the lab room on a circular platform.

I walked back and forth a bit as I continued.

"Anything noteworthy?"

"I have found that she appears to have some kind of super reflex along with having the power to use what we call magic. This 'Magic' appears to be some kind of natural force." she added as she got closer to the girl.

"However, more research is necessary to extract her abilities." she finished.

I smiled. Now, I could even use magic if we could extract her power. But, for now...

I slapped the girl on the cheek as she suddenly woke up.

Heh, smash it until it works. Electronics right?

"W-where am I? W-who are you p-people?" her eyes bolted around the room in panic.

I smirked as I turned to her.

"Congrats, you have been officially employed as my second secretary!" I pointed towards her as she looked at me all confused.

"W-wait. The last thing I remember is- *AW*!" Tiny sparks came from her right eye as it flinched.

Ha. Knew erasing the last few hours of her memory was a good idea.

"Don't you remember? You came to me and asked to be employed." I spoke.

"N-no, I don't t-think so? But..." she hesitated as she looked around, unable to see an exit obviously.

"It is obvious you don't remember, Nakata. You were participating in a simulation test. Congrats again, for passing." I added.

"Y-you know my n-name?" she asked.

"Of course, you may have forgotten so, I am Diva. Your new..." what is the right word? owner? boss? senior? ruler? meh, let's go for something funny for once.

"lord." as I spoke. I think I saw Glados almost laugh, but she suppressed it way too fast.

"L-lord Diva? Where... are we e-exactly?" she looked around.

I almost laughed, but quickly got a hold of myself.

"This is the Celestial Base. Or, soon to be..." it is still just a lab and a village after all.

She blinked a few times but ultimately decided not to ask more questions.

A spark of fire came from the black-haired girl's hand as it hit a small target.

*Bush*

"Great. Now, try using the final element." spoke Glados as she took notes, watching the girl use magic as she watched eagerly.

"I-Ice Shard!"

A single icicle appeared in are as it propelled itself towards the metal target.

*crash*

"Alright. That's all the elements covered. Now, for your battle province." she spoke as a few turrets came from the opened hatchets.

"W-wha-"

The turrets pointed lasers at her as they started to fire rapidly.

Her body dashed from side to side, barely dodging the bullets. Her body bent and slipped as the rapid-fire ended.
