Barefooted and bleary-eyed, a member of the werefish staff blinked, and said in a deep, rich voice, "Welcome to the Bermuda Triangle - where you'll embark on a monster cruise of a lifetime." He gestured with his arm to an encroaching cruise ship about fifty storeys high.

"A cruise!?" Drac yelled in shock, eyes wide.

"Surprise!" Mavis exclaimed joyously.

... "B- y- wh- but it's just like a hotel on the water," Drac argued pointedly.

"Jeez, the workaholic is shocked by a holiday, what a surprise," Irene said to Griffin dryly as they passed.

"Called it," Griffin replied.

The Legacy took off shortly after with a triumphant hoot of its horn. The deck bustled with life of passengers, the lights glowed bright and golden. Wayne and Wanda remained solemn and red-eyed as their pups formed about them a rampant hurricane of fur and teeth and spittle; witch sisters flew with abandon on their brooms through the corridors to the deck chairs before poofing on their swimwear; Winnie and Dennis were disheartened over the 'NO PETS ALLOWED' sign and fitted Tinkles in a trench coat and fedora like a ninja turtle; Irene and Griffin were traversing the deck with a particular monster trailing behind them...

"Oh, my god, Griffin!" Crystal exclaimed. "I'm, like, so excited. This is the nicest hotel I've ever been to."

Drac scowled from the group led my the three Invisibles.

"Yeah!" Griffin laughed.

Irene side-eyed him suspiciously.

He returned the look. "What?"

"Nothing," she said. "I wonder when lunch is."

"Man, this is amazing!" Murray exclaimed as he read the activity pamphlet. "There's so much to do! Olympic-sized swimming pool -" Bigfoot's foot filled the entire thing - "all-you-can-eat-buffet -" a skeleton lifted up the table and all the food slid through his hollow rib cage and onto the floor - "full-service spa! Whoo, I'm gonna get me a seaweed re-wrap!"

"Wow," Drac said sarcastically, "it sounds like everything we can do at our hotel."

"Except," Murray interjected, "on the water!" He cackled in excitement.

"Can't argue with that sound logic," Irene commented.

"Absolutely not," Griffin added. The two high-fived.

Fireworks were set off. Pinks and blues and golds and greens, each going up with a whistle and out with a pop. The crowd oohed and awwed.

"Oh, that's nice," Frank said.

"Frank - fire bad, remember?" Drac said.

"Oh, yeah, uh, right - but uh - maybe you'll find your own fireworks on the cruise, huh?" Frank bent over and grinned in Drac's dour face.

"It's not the Love Boat, Frank," said Drac in reply. Then, smiling, "I'm just here to have fun with my family."

From the top banister leapt a limber woman. She used a rope from the sail to swing down and let go with a front flip before landing on one of the arms of the mast like a trapeze act. She extended her arms and grinned. She had short white hair and an awkwardly shaped chin. Was this the captain?
