It sounded like the people onshore were arguing, but it was hard to determine what it was about. A few voices stood out, two came from what appeared to be the same person! Shell was curious, but stayed behind the curtain, hoping no one noticed there were three more contestants than before. She was caught off guard by someone approaching without her noticing. "Hello!" A surprisingly chipper voice came from a blue blob-like creature. It had no limbs but had a face. Shell made a silent note that, if it had a face, it was likely alive. "Are you excited?" The blob asked, smiling in excitement at her.
"I'm nervous..." Shell admitted timidly, and the blob thought for just a moment. "Don't think of it as something bad, it's like, you're a caterpillar! Yeah, and you're in your cocoon, it'll be weird, maybe painful, but you'll come out as a beautiful butterfly!" They exclaimed, not understanding why Shell was nervous, having just made an assumption. "Yeah, I guess you're right. What's your name?" "I'm Goo!""Goo... It's nice to meet you. I'm Shell." Shell says softly. "You too, Shell! What are you looking at?" Goo inquired, peeking past the curtain. "Um, some people washed up on shore, they look alright, I think they're all okay," Shell muttered, gesturing to the group. "Oh," Goo said, a little nervous. "Don't worry, they seem pretty harmless," Shell reassured the nervous Goo, who whimpered anxiously. "Besides, they can be new friends, right?" She knelt down to soothe the small blue blob, who gave her a rather pitiful smile in return.
"And friends, they're good to have. Even if you don't know where you are, what's going on, or even yourself, good friends will be there to help you, or even just to listen..." She glances at Soda Pop and Candy. "It might be hard to find them, but you'll find people who care for you because you're... well YOU." She says."And a few really good friends are better than a bunch of shallow ones, right?" Shell says gently. "Maybe one of them can be a really good friend, but you'll never know if you don't go out there and talk to them." She reiterates, placing a hand on Goo, who smiled brightly. "Yeah! Like how walking on a tightrope with new shoes is super scary and you can fall, and get really hurt, but you get better and better!" Goo states cheerfully, getting a slight smile in return. "Yeah, if that's how you interpreted it." Shell admitted gently, standing back up.
