Carmen's POV

I fluffed my hair, making sure it covered my earrings. They were cute, but definitely not something I wanted people to see.

"Girl, you look fine!" Kourtney told me.

"And looking 'fine' beside you, equals 'look at me, I slept in a trash can.'" I replied.

"Stop, I'm blushing." she smiled.

"Seriously Carm. You look great." Nini said.

"Could someone please tell me how I am friends with the nice kids?" I asked.

"I'll tell you if you reveal that news you've been holding over our heads." Nini said, trying to bribe me.

"Sorry Neens. Lips are sealed." I replied.

That's when that dick Ricky Bowen and his red haired sidekick walked over.

"Hey. Can we talk?" Ricky Bowen asked Nini.

Oh, so now he wants to spend time with her?

"I met someone new at camp." Nini blurted out.

"Yeah. So you can leave her alone, Ricky Bowen." I snapped.

"Wait. Wait, is this a joke?" Ricky asked.

Oh my god, he's an idiot.

"Mouth, closed." I said to him "Nini. Continue."

"I met someone at camp." Nini repeated "Uh, I didn't plan for it to happen, but it happened. He was the Music Man, I was Marian, the librarian. It's called a showmance.

"Wait, you went to librarian camp? That's a thing?" Ricky Bowen's red haired sidekick said.

"If you aren't kidding, I swear to god, I will punch you." I sighed.

"Please... Tell me you're joking." Ricky Bowen pleaded.

"I'm not. I'm not." Nini and his sidekick synced.

"No one was talking to you, carrot top." I told him "Neens?"

"Ricky, you know what you did!" Nini told Ricky Bowen.

"Or what you didn't do." I said, folding my arms and glaring at that heart breaking bastard.

*Flashity backity*

"Do my feet stink? 'Cause I feel like my feet stink." Ricky asked Nini.

They were lying on his bed in his room.

"No. Sort of." Nini admitted.

"Yeah?" Ricky asked.

"I think it's cute." Nini asked.

A/n, what the fuck Nini?

"Yeah? Okay. And that's why we work." Ricky smiled.

"Check your Instagram." Nini told him.

"What? Okay." Ricky said.

He took out his phone and opened his Instagram. There was a video of Nini sitting on her bed with her ukulele.

"Um, happy almost one year anniversary, baby." the video said "I, uh... I wrote this for you. So..."

She started strumming.

"What is this?" Ricky asked Nini.

"Just watch it, I made it for you." she smiled.

Ricky chuckled.
