*Aggressively sings HSM*

We were all gathered around the entrance to the rehearsal room. I was flipping through a well-worn copy of The Long Walk. 

Nini and EJ walked over. Nini looked pissed, and EJ looked upset. 

"Hey, is the door locked or something? Why's everyone gathered out here?" Nini asked. 

"Oh. Natalie Bagley's missing her emotional support hamster, Elliot. He got loose. Carlos and Gina are helping her find her. Him. It." I replied. 

There was a shrill scream. 

"Ok. I think they found it." I said, snapping my book shut. 

Natalie ran out. Carlos and Gina followed. 

"I need a moment." she said. 

"Is it dead?" I asked Carlos. 

"No. Now she thinks he's in her gym locker." Carlos told me. 

"Why the screaming?" Ashlyn asked. 

"That was me. She stepped on my toe." Carlos explained. 

"Holy crap, you have a high pitched scream. Are all glass objects intact?" I asked. 

"It was one time Carm!" Carlos said in annoyance "Anyway, We're ready to begin, people. Miss Jen talked to Ricky, he's running late." 

"Who cares?" EJ scoffed. 

"Hmm. You might, considering you're his understudy. We're blocking the Troy, Gabriella duet. You're on, lovers." Carlos told him and Nini. 

I saw Nini looking annoyed and also panicked. 

"You ok?" I whispered to her. 

"We broke up." she said. 

My eyes widened. 

"What? When? And why?" I exclaimed. 

"About five minutes ago. It turns out, he's the one who took my phone! And, he listened and deleted a voicemail on it!" she said. 

EJ Caswell, you dick.

I am so disappointed in you.  

We went into the rehearsal room and EJ and Nini stepped onto the stage. 

They were standing about two meters apart. 

"Can you move a little closer to each other?" Miss Jen told them 

Nini stepped about two inches closer to EJ. 

"Little more." Miss Jen urged. 

Another two inches. 

"Come on, guys, we're blocking this as a love story, not a SARS epidemic." Miss Jen told them. 

"I think that chair was over there." Carlos said to Miss Jen
