"Ok, here we go!" Carlos said "And a, five, six, seven, eight!"

The music started. The people Carlos and I were trying to teach started off good, but it sure as hell didn't last long.

"Come on! Get your head in the game!" I said.

One of them pulled his blindfold up.

"Carlos, when can we take the blindfolds off?" he asked.

"When you can dribble and pirouette at the same time." I said "Now blindfold down." I pulled it back over his eyes.

Confessional thing

*Voiceover Carlos*

It's important to set up impossible situations in rehearsal. That way, by opening night, they've been through every possible emergency scenario. Someone has a heart attack in the audience? Keep dancing. The sound system goes out because of a tornado? Keep dancing.

*Standing in the rehearsal room*

Carlos: Tornadoes come and go. Dance is forever.

*Carmen walks by eating some Cheetos*

Carmen: Preach.

End

Carlos, Miss Jen and I were in the auditorium taking measurements to figure out how big the sets had to be.

Nini walked in.

"Um, have you seen my phone? It's kind of a eggshell champagne color, has a Playbill case?" she asked.

"Ok, well that's adorable. I said.

"No, but we'll keep a look out." Miss Jen told her.

Nini started leaving

"Just remember, there's no phones in rehearsal!" Miss Jen called out to her.

"I know!" Nini called back.

Confessional thing

*Standing in the backstage area*

Miss Jen: Things were simpler when I was a teenager. We had flip-phones and M Three P players. My job is to put these kids on airplane mode. So they can fly. *Makes butterfly hands and goes flutter flutter with them*

End

Mr Mazzara walked in.

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, LEAVE US ALONE!!!!!

"Miss Jenn, I need a moment." he said.

"Do you have an appointment?" I asked, stepping in front of him.

"I've got this honey." Miss Jen told me "We're done for the day." she said to me and Carlos.

Carlos and I reluctantly left.
