Apparently, the elvin world still hadn't finished school yet. I'd only been done for a few days, but they still had another week, which meant I did have to leave a little early form the shores of solace last night so Keefe could sleep. But when I got home I begged Grady and Edaline to let me go back to school.

"Why do you want to go? It's school, normally not making you go to school would make you happy," questioned Grady.

"Because if I'm going to have to adjust to being back I have to do the same things I did before I left, school being one of them." I countered.

"Are you sure? No matter what happens you'll still be there next year for level 6," said Edaline.

"I know, I just missed out on basically all of level 5 so I feel like I should probably go for the last week since I'll have nothing else to do."

Edaline sighed as she and Grady looked at eachother. She grabbed my hand from across the table and looked at me in the eyes as she said, "You do know what going back to school means, right? Everybody knows you left, everybody will stare, and everybody will have questions."

"I know. I'm used to that. Remember when I first came to the lost cities?"

"While that's true, now they'll probably have more questions, worse questions," Said Grady.

"I know. But I can handle it. I'm not a little kid anymore."

"We know you're not," said Edaline. "But that won't stop us from trying to protect you."

I smiled before Grady brought something up that I'd completely forgotten about, "are you sure you can even go? I don't think you're still enrolled."

I sat back in my chair trying to think of a solution, I needed to go. I needed something in my life to be the same as it was before this whole mess. "Well, Mr Fokle AKA the principal knows my situation so I'm sure he'll let me back in if I just ask."

"Okay. If he says yes then you can go, but you'll need a uniform," said Grady.

"I'm sure Biana has an extra, I can just ask her for the week."

"Okay, but after that you should probably go to bed. And don't forget about dinner with Keefe tomorrow," said Grady.

"I won't. Love you guys," I said as I leapt up the stairs to my bedroom.

"Please be awake, please be awake," I begged into my imparter after I said Mr Forkle's name.

"What are you still doing up?" He asked when he finally answered. It looked like he was working on some paper work in his office, probably the one in Silverwing.

"I have something to ask you, and please hear me out before you say no," I begged.

He sighed, "You kids. But fine, I promise to hear you out."

"Well, I was wondering if I could go back to Foxfire for the last week of school. I just really need things to go back to how they were before. And, yes, I'm aware that things have probably changed."

He sat there for a second probably going through every bad option that could happen over the week, until he finally answered, "I guess that would be okay, after morning announcements you can head over to my office to get your schedule for the week."

I smiled wider than I thought was possible, "Thank you! I won't let you down,"

"You better not, good night Miss Foster."

"Good night," I said before ending the call so I could hail Biana.

"Soph, go to bed," she said once she picked up the imparter.
