I don't know what problem Christian has with me and now I don't care. He took it too far. Our hatred was alive on baseless arguments, but I draw the line here. But if he wants to be actual enemies then let him be.

He thinks I'm made of glass, and will shatter any time. I am not some weak, fragile girl who will break at the tiniest mention of her past. I am way past that. I'm sick of it and I refuse to be weak anymore.

Did he think he won by threatening to drown me? Oh, I've got worse waiting for him.

"I've something for you," Gianna stepped into my bedroom, stirring me from my thoughts.

She sat beside me on the bed and placed a big black box tied with silver ribbon in the space between us. I looked at her with a confused expression on my face and she just nudged me with a smile to open it up. Carefully, I untied the ribbon and opened the box to be blown away. It was my doodle. Exactly. It was the one, I drew when I was bored, and my aunt made it a reality.

I turned to her with a gasp and instantly engulfed her in a bear hug. "Auntie Gigi," I laughed, still in shock. "This is so pretty. I can't believe it." I touched the black material of the dress.

"Now, I think you know what you're gonna do when you grow up, Kia." She smiled softly at my reaction.

"Yes!" A huge grin overcame my face.

After changing into the dress, I gave a small twirl to Gianna and then looked at my reflection in the mirror. A smile appeared on my face at the sight of the dress on me. It was a black spaghetti strapped corset on the top and a big flowy bottom. It wasn't that over the top or unique but it's my absolute favorite from now on. I promise to cherish it till the day I die.

Aunt Gianna also changed into her royal blue gown and then we both sat at the vanity and did our makeup while our hair was being professionally done. Reluctantly, I let Gianna put a diamond necklace on me after I tried to tell her I wasn't that responsible.

She led me to the garden where the party was alive and thriving. And oh my god it was extravagant. There were ice sculptures, a DJ, dancers and—a cake with my face on it? What? Is this party for me? Oh my god.

I turned to my aunt and she just grinned at me gently pushing me into the party. She winked at me and left me to socialize with other guests. With my eyes still wide in shock, I spotted Felix, Ezra and Noah standing near the bar area and I rushed to their side.

"You look pretty, sorellina." Noah complimented, and Ezra and Felix nodded in agreement.

"Thank you." I smiled genuinely. I noticed the glasses in their hands and my stomach craved any kind of liquid. "Please gimmie some of that." I pointed to their glasses.

Ezra solemnly nodded and got a glass from the bartender to hand me but as he was going to give it to me, Felix stopped him.

"That's alcohol, Ezra." Felix gave him a sharp look. "Are you out of your mind?"

I looked at the glass and shrugged. It was just champagne, a bit of champagne does not hurt anyone. I took the glass from Ezra's hand.

"It's just champagne, Felix." I twirled the champagne in the glass. "I'm pretty sure the alcohol content in this is like three per cent."

"Just one glass," He said pointedly and I nodded, drinking it.

"Did you know Declan got a new assistant who does not know about the Cosa Nostra," Noah informed, piquing Felix and Ezra's attention. A weird look took over their face.
