Ailuranthropy Reader (Were-cats)

A compilation in which Wednesday scares her Were Cat girlfriend, but there are benefits to it.

I was cleaning my room as I usually do on the last week of the month, and right now I was humming quietly to some music that played from my CD player as I dusted off the shelves with my duster, unaware of the eerie presence behind me until I feel the cold breeze of air being blown into my ear, making me squeal in surprise as I automictically swat away the being behind me before turning around to face them, looking startled by my girlfriend standing before me, "What the hell?" I whisper yell at her, more frightened than mad.

"Hello Querida, I just wanted to see if you wanted a grilled cheese sandwich?" She greets me with a small head tilt, followed by a sweet smile, making my anger disperse almost immediately.

I was walking out of the library, chatting to Enid about her progress on her theory mock exams for Lycanthropy as she needed a tutor on the subject. She was doing exceptionally well, she just needed to find a way to get herself to focus, and she'd pass the real exam with no problem.

We eventually had to say our goodbyes as we were going to go our separate ways, "Bye Enid, see you later, text me if you need anything!" I call out from behind her, she tosses me a peace sign before rounding the corner, leaving me alone to my thoughts. I sigh softly, taking my phone out of my pocket before I see a flash of something whip past me, "Eee!" I shrieked out quietly, as it made me jump in surprise away from the figure, realising it was Wednesday. I look at her for a few seconds, letting my brain click into place as I recognise my girlfriend before I sigh heavily, "Honey," I say through gritted teeth, trying to hide my embarrassment for that noise I made earlier with annoyance, "What are you doing just standing there? How long have you been standing there?" I question.

"I'm picking you up from your study session, of course," she says sweetly as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. She stood with her hands behind her back, showing her smile that only I was to see.

"Wait, weren't you at fencing practice?" I ask her, remembering she had fencing class on the last period of Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

"Yes, what of it?" She questions me curiously, and I can't help but smile.

"Did you seriously run over from the other side of the school just to pick me up?" I inquire with a light nudge to her shoulder, she looks away from me, grumbling words of disagreement under her breath as her pale cheeks have a faint blush to them now.

"Let's just go," she mumbles.

I'm currently in the library, trying to find a book for my botany class, when I feel eyes on me, I look around curiously, trying to spot anyone I recognise or someone who is looking at me, but when I check it out, I see that it was just me and a couple of students who were in no way paying attention to me.

The lighting in the library was dim and warm as it was late evening, meaning people were here for some last-minute cramming sessions, or their brown leisure as it was slow-paced, so when I heard the thud of something behind me, I flinched, nearly dropping the book I had picked up to inspect onto the ground. My ears were on high alert, twitching left and right to try and move in on the sound, my tail was flicking from side to side in aggravation, wanting to know who was messing with me.

I walk around the bookshelf I was standing at, peering at the opposite side to see the walkway empty, I squint my eyes, trying to use my ability of night vision to sense any threats in the surrounding area, but my brain was coming up clear. "Weird..." I mumble to myself, taking a step back to return the book I had picked up back to its spot when I bump into someone, making my entire body erupt into small electric currents as my fur spikes up, my eye narrowing at whoever it was, hissing loudly at them as I throw my book at them.
