It was a few hours after today's grand display in the Pentagon, you were sitting in your room, too embarrassed to anyone right now as you had your comfort hoodie on, hood up, knees tucked up into your chest as you had your blankets wrapped around you like you were in a cosy hug, the only thing allowing you to connect to the real world was the eye sockets you have allowed yourself to have, but even then you had your eyes closed, just wanting to disappear for the next two to three business days.

Only Yoko was allowed in as she was your roommate, and as of right now she was hanging upside down, arms crossed over her chest with her eyes closed, earphones in as she listened to her renascence playlist.

Y/n's POV

I'm lying down, staring up at the ceiling as I contemplate the meaning of life and why exactly I was alive when I hear a knock on my door. I raise my head, looking to Yoko, silently praying she would already be on her way to answer it but my hope is cut short when I see her too focused on her own relaxation to have heard the door, so with a heavy sigh my roommates lack of movement I grudgingly shuffle out of bed, keeping my blanket wrapped around me tightly as I drag it behind me to the door.

I open the door without much thought but immediately regret not checking my appearance beforehand as Wednesday stands there, "Hello Y/n," she greets me, her tone politely dull, her expression blank and her usual crossed-arms stance. I squeak in surprise, realising how strange I must've looked to her and slam the door right in her face, but then panic again because I just realised, I slammed a door on 'the Wednesday Addams.'

The bang of the door and the rattle of the walls alert my roommate as her eyes open, her head snapping towards me as she is already gracefully getting off the pull-up bar, her headphones sliding down to rest around her neck, her eyes filled with worry, "Who was it? Was it Xavier again?" She questions.

I shake my head quickly for no, which raises her brows up at me in interest, "It's much worse," I mutter in a fearful voice, this immediately makes Yoko's face harden as she walks in front of me, grabbing my shoulders as she looks me dead in the eyes, her head having to title down because of how tall she was compared to me.

"Who?" She asks in a cold serious tone, waiting for my answer.

"Wednesday..."I speak quietly, not wanting the girl behind the door to hear us, but that plan was thrown out the window as Yoko threw her head back cackling. "It's not funny!" I whisper shout in irritation at my roommate as I try to cover her mouth with my hands, but she only takes small steps back, clutching her stomach as she wheezes in glee.

"Y-you...are s-scared of... o-of Wednesday!?" She slaps my shoulder as she laughs. I punch her lightly in the chest which had impacted her enough to suck in a deep breath, calming herself down with the few occasional giggles here and there, she uses the back of her finger to wipe away tears in her eyes, taking a heavy sigh, her fanged grin wide and cheeky. I glare hard at her, and she raises her hands up in surrender, "Ok, ok, I'm sorry," she says, not being sorry at all.

"Better be," I grumble, taking my blanket armour off as I dump it back onto my bed, holding my cheeks with my hands, feeling how warm they were after seeing the unexpected visitor.

"All right, what do you want me to do about..." she looks around carefully, leaning in slightly closer to whisper, "...Wednesday," as if saying her name any louder would cause a demon to crash in through our window and ask us to sign a blood pact as we sing kumbaya around a satanic ritual.

"I don't know!" I whisper shout, sounding flustered as I grab my hair in distress, "Is she still there?" I question nervously, watching the vampire check the peephole of the door with a deadpan face.

"Yes, she is," I see her away to turn the door handle and I make a noise of panic and offence, "What? We should just let her in-" Yoko begins, turning the handle properly, I jump in front of the door quickly when I hear the click of it open, then hear it slam shut behind me as I push all my weight onto the wood, "Really?" She questions, not looking impressed with me.
