The next morning, the boys were roughly awoken by Katrina. They were in no mood to get up at all today. They groaned and tried to throw their pillows at her.

“You throw like the three year olds in my village!” exclaimed Katrina.

“Katrina, shut up and leave us alone” mumbled Louis. Katrina glared at him.

“No! The Capitol expects you at the city hall as soon as possible! You have to get up!” Katrina said trying to drag Louis out of bed. When she realized that none of them were planning on getting out of bed anytime soon she resorted to the lowest of low. She went upstairs, filled up a bucket of water, praying to the gods that her sister wouldn’t kill her for this, and sprayed them all with ice cold water!

“WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING KATRINA?!” They screamed at her, their eyes burning with shock and anger. She just laughed at them when they yelled at her. Her sisters thundered down the stairs to see the boys soaked in water. The girls struggled to hold in their laughter but ended up falling to the floor in laughter. Tears of laughter stung their eyes.

“Ha, that was very funny Katrina.” huffed Niall. The girls just laughed even harder. Finally they calmed down enough to talk.

“Get ready, we have a few boy clothes in the trunk under Olivia’s bed” said Lily.

“Why… are there men’s clothes under my bed Lily?” asked Olivia at Lily. Lily’s blush made the boys howl with laugh.

“Not my fault the boys at the festivals decide to skinny dip! They should know by now I will steal their clothes and forget to give them back” grumbled Lily. The boys just howled with laughter again. Maria allowed herself a small smile before forcing her sisters out so that the boys could change.

Maria, Katrina, Lily, Olivia and Angel decided to wear their usual day to day outfits. They had washed them last night to make sure they smelt fresh and had no blood on them. They had just served up some porridge when the boys had come up from the basement with denim jeans and a simple button down shirt. Harry decided however to wear a black trim blazer over the top, making him stand out just like his curly hair. The girls looked at each other nervously.

“What do you guys think?” asked Lily quietly to her sisters.

“I’m just hoping they won’t do anything stupid. That’s what I’m thinking” said Olivia glaring at Harry who was trying to balance a glass of water on his head. Niall, Zayn, Louis and Liam all laughed at Harry’s new look. Maria heard Olivia’s comment and glared at the boys and pulled out her whip, lashing it out at the cup, causing it to break. The boys stopped their laughter and looked at Maria.

“You children are about to go to the capitol and this is how you react?!” Maria said deadly calm, emphasising on the word ‘children’.

“We… we didn’t think…” began Liam, but for once, his smooth talking words seemed to have failed.

“Of course you didn’t think!” she hissed out. The boys cowered back. She was more scary then Natalia!

“It’s not our fault for trying to make a little humour in this dark time!” Harry said back to Maria, trying to defend Liam. At that statement, the girls’ eyes turned deadly.

“DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND?! THE DEADLY GAMES ARE IN A FEW DAYS! THEY WILL NOT BE HAPPY ABOUT THE FACT WE HAVE TO GO TO THEM FOR HELP SO CLOSE TO THEIR ‘FAVOURITE’ TIME OF THE YEAR OK?!” Maria yelled. There was silence while the boys tried to grasp what they were trying to communicate to them.

“What are the Deadly Games?” asked Niall trying to figure it all out. The girls looked at each other.

“We’ll…. Tell you when the time is right.” said Angel. The others nodded in agreement with Angel.

“No you tell us right now. We can’t be going into the city hall blind as to what is going on!” argued Zayn.

“It won’t affect you’ said Lily.

Oh how wrong they were.
