No words were said as they walked with the other contestants. The boys could feel sweat on their hands and they tried to wipe them on their track pants. No help there. They took in soft breaths, each of them slowly shuffling towards their deaths. The boys glanced at the girls. They held no emotion on their faces and walked strongly to the arena while everyone else was determined to slowdown time.

“Before you enter the arena, you will have a tracking device placed in your arm for security reason. During the games, there are no rules; except you cannot eat the other contestants” A member of the capitol said with a sinister grin.

The boys shivered before walking onto a platform that took them up to the Arena; Maria’s advice still fresh in their minds. They had to run in the direction behind them and Maria and the others would follow them. There was a huge mountain of food, weapons and other survival items on it.

The girls had told them that they cannot move until the horn blew at nine am so that way the games can begin or they will be blown to pieces. They watched as the seconds ticked by on a massive clock above them. Seconds droned on as the boys felt the familiar throwing up fear around them, threatening to overcome them. Finally, nine o’clock came around and there was a huge blast of a horn and that’s when the games begun.

Maria, Olivia, Lily, Angel and Katrina sprinted off the platform and raced to the mountain before dodging out of sight behind the boys, while they were frozen in fear. They watched in horror as some children were brutally murdered before their eyes. Niall blinked, trying to hold back his fear as he saw the pleas that were being brought to young twelve year olds mouths as they begged for their lives.

“Come on! We have to get out of here!” Liam yelled at his best friends, his brothers. They nodded and they sprinted away from the scene of the murders.

But one can never run away from the memory that would have on them.

Maria stormed through the forest angrily. She wasn’t just mad, she was fuming! She had specifically told the boys that they had to run behind them the moment the horn blew! She whirled around and punched the closest thing to her, which happened to be a tree.

“I specifically told them to run south! I told them and what do they do?! They run in the complete opposite direction and now we are walking around trying to find them!” Maria ranted in a hiss.

They had been running around the forest for ages, desperate to find the boys, knowing that if they don’t, they will be hunted and they will be killed.

“Just chill, Maria, the Capitol shows the dead where the clock is. If we wait for another ten minutes, it will be twelve hours and we’ll be able to see who is dead” Katrina said to her sister.

“We have to keep going until we find them.” Angel sighed.

“Or at least until we find out if they are alive or dead” Lily said to her sisters.

“Olivia, I take your silence as a disagreement?” Maria said with a raised eyebrow. Olivia looked at her sisters before sighing.

“The thing is, if we don’t find them, someone or something will kill them. It does not matter if they are human or plant, one of them is bound to do something stupid. We cannot wait to find out if they are alive or dead due to the Capitol. I suggest we keep going, rest and wait for the Capitol to announce if they are alive or not. If they aren’t alive...we battle as a group and win. If they are alive, we rest, then we begin our search” Olivia said.

The four other girls looked at Olivia and nodded. They had to keep searching! If they don’t, who knows what will happen to the boys! Olivia had her sword tightly as they continued in the darkness. Lily walked behind her with a hand on her daggers. Angel jumped up into the trees and told them she would follow them in the trees with her archery set. Katrina pulled out her double bladed sword and walked behind her sisters. Maria held a hand cautiously on her whip as she walked through the forest with her sisters.

They cautiously ran through the forest, desperate to find the boys. Angel glanced around the arena. She needed to spot them! They had to make some sort of rookie movement if the girls were to find them! I mean, they can’t be that good at hiding...could they?

Finally, the dead procession began. The girls paused and looked up at the sky, hearing the familiar sad tune as the names and pictures flashed across the screen. The girls held their breath as Area 14 was completely eliminated. The procession finished and the girls let out a sigh of relief.

“Twenty two players left in the games. Area fifteen and Area one have all their players.” Olivia said to her sisters.

“Area two has three players left and Area three has two left.” Katrina said sadly.

“But then who is the other one?” Angel asked.

“Area five has three players left. Remember, they’ll be grouping up against us. We need to find the boys as soon as possible!” Lily whispered urgently.

Maria nodded but told her sisters that they needed to rest. Her sisters hesitantly agreed before climbing into the trees to find a branch to sleep on.

“We’ll find them, won’t will Maria?” Angel asked her older sister in a whisper.

“I pray we do, Angel, I pray we do” Maria said before she closed her eyes. She had to find them.

“Do...Do you think they may have forgotten about us?” Harry asked the group as they sat in the cave on the mountain hill.

“I doubt it, Harry. We ran in the opposite direction from them. They’re probably on the other side of the arena, fuming that we didn’t follow them” Louis sighed.

There was a sad song played over the speakers and the boys peeked out of the cave to watch the procession of the dead. They held their breath but none of the Anders girls were put on screen.

“They’re still alive” Niall breathed out in relief.

“Yes but they might not be for long. We need to find them.” Liam said determinedly.

“Liam, it’s the middle of the night, we are being hunted...I think we should sleep here first before going out to find them.” Zayn said to Liam.

“I agree with Zayn. We’ll only get killed if we try” Louis said.

Liam looked between each of his brothers and nodded. He understood exactly what they meant and they had to focus and not let...emotions overcome them.

“The girls will find us, Liam. I can feel it” Harry said positively.

There was a question that was on everyone’s lips. Will they find them dead or alive?

The next morning, they woke up at the crack of dawn, starving and thirsty. They knew they couldn’t wait in the cave for the rest of the time. They agreed to go out of the cave to find food and water. They crept out of the cave and walked down to the creek by the end of the hill and greedily sucked down all the fresh water they could get.

“I knew I would find you here” An unfamiliar voice said smugly. They whirled around to see a group of three people, waiting for them by the creek.

The boys cautiously back up while Area two looked at them as if they were some sort of animal ready to be butchered. They boys turned on their hells and sprinted through the forest, with Area two laughing madly as they closed up on them. The boys instantly hooked a right and sprinted to the north. They had to get away from their potential killers!

“Quick! In there!” Liam called out, just loud enough for his friends to hear.

They dived into a bush and prayed that Area two did not find them. They had to stay alive, and right now, they were going to go with their instinct.

“Where did they go?” One boy sneered out.

“I don’t know, i thought you were tracking them” A girl’s voice replied back angrily.

“I thought you were McKinnon.” Another boy sneered back in reply.

“That’s enough! We need to stay focus. We’ll go back to their cave. It will become our territory. They won’t stand a chance in the wild” The first boy said.

One Direction waited before standing up and watching the area around them nervously. What Area two said was right! Without the Anders....they had no chance.
