I have no energy to wait.

Choel

Jihoonie sent a voicemail

Hoon, you can't be serious

not right now, this is actually serious. Ji

Ughh. Fine

I love you, I'm sorry. Get home safely

I love you too, Jihoon. Really. And it's okay I understand

I'll bring you a present.

You better !

Jihoon stared at his phone and let out an annoyed sigh, this was not how he planned to spend his night.  But he knew he couldn't be too clingy to the other.

It wouldn't do him any good, he knew that better than anyone. Flicking his finger across his screen he tapped on the group chat to see no one was active. " That's new." He snorted out loud, he looked over his contacts and laughed at the names he had given everyone. One in particular making him scoff. He pressed on the contact and typed away.

Do NOT CONTACT!! NO

Me: Hey fucker

---

The message was from Jihoon, and with hindsight Soonyoung supposed he should have expected that, though this was actually the first time either had texted the other, outside of the group chat.

Me: Hey yourself, Buttercup. It's kinda late, the fuck you want?

The words had flowed automatically, and Soonyoung  snickered at himself.

Jihoonie: Buttercup?

Soonyoung was always in a mood to piss the other off, strangly enough he actually found the little one short adorable when he was fuming with anger.

Me: It felt like a good moment to drop a Buttercup. Did it backfire?

Jihoonie: shut the hell up, don't piss me off.

Soonyoung chuckled and fell back on the couch he lay on, pleased by Jihoon's response.

Me: Whatever. What do you want?

Jihoonie: don't talk to me like that you furry

Soonyoung burst into an awkward laugh, one hand clutching his chest while the other was swiftly typing away.

Me: Furry? aren't you the smartest with insults.

A faint click echoed in the room, accompanied by Soonyoung's gentle giggles and laughter.

"Soonyoung?" Jun's voice cut through the air, prompting an immediate response from Soonyoung. Hastily setting aside his phone, he darted towards Jun, playfully throwing himself onto the other guy. "Junnn!" Soonyoung exclaimed, his voice brimming with his usual exuberance. "Well, hello to you too," Jun replied with a chuckle, running his fingers through Soonyoung's hair and teasingly tousling it. "Did you miss me that much?" Jun teased, amused by Soonyoung's antics. "Shut up, where were you?" Soonyoung detached himself from Jun, his curiosity evident. "Uhm," Jun hesitated, his gaze shifting to a nondescript white wall, finding sudden fascination in its emptiness.

"What?" Soonyoung inquired, his voice tinged with curiosity and a hint of apprehension. Jun responded with a faint smile, one that hinted at secrecy, signaling to Soonyoung that he wouldn't be revealing much. "I just went out. That's it," Jun explained briefly.

"Oh," Soonyoung replied quietly, his surprise evident. Unwilling to let go, he clung onto Jun's arm, displaying no intention of releasing his hold.

Soonyoung felt a sense of astonishment. He and Jun typically shared everything, so this deviation was perplexing. What had changed? The situation felt unusual, and Soonyoung had an innate discomfort with anything out of the ordinary, even if he himself was often considered peculiar.

"What were you doing? I heard you giggling, and shit" Jun glanced over at Soonyoung's illuminated phone.

"Oh... OH! That midget from the group chat," Soonyoung replied, grabbing his phone while tousling his hair. He walked back to Jun, eliciting a laugh from the latter. "Why are you so adorable, man?" Jun smiled warmly at Soonyoung, unaware of the blush coloring the younger boy's cheeks. "Shut up. Look," Soonyoung said, pulling up his messages with Jihoon.

"Oh. What did he want?"

"I actually don't know why he even texted me. Maybe he was just lonelyyy." Soonyoung shrugged.

"Oh," Jun enveloped Soonyoung in a warm embrace, his arms encircling his back.

"Yeah... oh," Soonyoung inclined his head to the side, leaning into Jun's tender touch.

"I really did miss you," he admitted, his voice filled with genuine longing.

"I was only gone for a few hours," Jun chuckled softly against Soonyoung's neck.

"You need to work on that," he whispered, his breath brushing against Soonyoung's skin and sending pleasurable shivers throughout his body.

Soonyoung, held his breath. Knowing he couldn't take anymore of this a second longer he pulled himself out of the other's embrace " Your'e so annoying.  Really."

"Am I really?" Jun made an attempt to pull Soonyoung back but the loud notification from Soonyoung's phone caught him off guard.

"Why don't you have the gc muted?" Jun questioned annoyed at the constant notifications. Soonyoung gave Jun's chest a pat and jumped around in excitement.
