Seungkwan could care less, no seriously. He could honestly give a damn less about what happened; all his attitude was due to his anger issues. But he wouldn't be getting mad if there was nothing to get mad at. The boy rolled in his bed as the messages continued to come in. The noise of his phone was starting to make his ears hurt, prompting him to finally decide to shut it off. It was late anyway, and he didn't need a headache to go along with the rest of his problems. It didn't take long for the room to grow silent, the only sound coming from his ceiling fan. Eventually, the boy drifted into a light sleep. His dreams consisted of his silly, senseless problems and the way his life could easily be turned around. The next thing he knew, a loud noise sounded off in the form of a knock, waking him from his slumber.
"Hey, open up."
He knew who it was immediately, and as much as he wanted to stay silent, there was no ignoring the voice of his somewhat friend, if he could even call them friends. The boy sat up, ran a hand through his hair, and moved towards the door, swinging it open.
"Why are you so loud?"
"Shut up, I physically can't be quiet."
"Well, try harder. I'm sure it's possible." Seungkwan rolled his eyes, stretching his arms back.
The younger male rolled his eyes at the sarcastic remark and moved inside the big room. "Whatever. Your room is almost as big as mine."
Seungkwan shrugged and moved towards his bed. "I'm guessing you came to brag."
"Yeah, no, not really. I wanted to apologize, you know, for what happened yesterday and today."
"I'm serious, Kwan. I really am sorry, and I mean it."
"I'm going back to bed."
"Seungkwan, come on. Just hear me out."
"I'm tired, Vernon."
"I know it's late, but please just let me talk. I genuinely don't even understand the whole situation."
Seungkwan shook his head and looked towards his door. "If you leave right now, I won't tell your little shit you came in here."
Vernon sighed. He didn't put a lot of effort into his words; he just wanted to have a civil conversation. Was that so much to ask for? "Just please listen to me, Kwan. I just wanna know what's been up with you lately. It's not like you."
Seungkwan sighed and rubbed his face. "Nothing is wrong with me. You're the problem, you and the rest of the people in this place."
Vernon took a deep breath. "Why are you getting at Won? You guys were literally friends like two days ago."
Seungkwan looked at him, confused. "You seriously don't know? He's your fucking boyfriend."
Vernon shared the same confused look. "I don't understand."
"You really can't piece it together?"
"I can't."
Seungkwan laughed sarcastically. "So I guess the rumors are true, you're an actual fucking idiot."
"Stop calling me an idiot and tell me what I'm missing."
"Wonwoo is an asshole. That's what you're missing."
Vernon shook his head. "Watch your mouth; that's still my boyfriend."
Seungkwan threw his head back in laughter. "God, you are a lost cause." He shook his head and grabbed his phone. "Leave."
"You haven't told me anything."
"And I don't plan to. You're so far gone it's actually pathetic."
"What is your issue?"
"You are my fucking issue. Now get the fuck out."
"Why are you getting so angry? You were fine when I first got here."
Seungkwan groaned and looked up at the ceiling. "I'm not angry. Just go."
"Then explain it."
"It's not my place." Seungkwan said quietly.
Vernon peered closer. "What?"
"I said, it's not my place."
Vernon raised a brow. "What's not your place? Explain, Seungkwan." The younger male reached out. Seungkwan retreating at the contact.
"What isn't your place?" The younger repeated.
"I said I'm not telling you, Vernon. Now leave before I lose my shit."
"Okay, okay, I'll go."
Seungkwan nodded his head. "Thank god."
Vernon sighed and left without another word. There was no use in trying anymore.
