Party pt 2

Minghao was standing next to a window, head turned, his attention on the outside view. And Jun, who noticed his mood earlier stood awkwardly next to him for a while, he could tell that Minghao noticed him because he was shifting every few seconds, but neither spoke.

"You wanna go for a walk?" Jun finally asked. Minghao didn't respond, just followed as Jun led them out.

Jun wasn't sure where they were walking, and Minghao didn't say anything. So they walked in silence for a few blocks, both of them taking in the scenery. They eventually ended up sitting on a bench in a park, neither saying anything, Jun watching a couple playing with their dog while Minghao fiddled with the rings on his fingers.

"He's so fucking dumb" Minghao finally spoke. Jun nodded, but stayed silent.

"I bet him and..." Minghao trailed off, shaking his head. "No, that would be fucked."

Jun looked confused but didn't question it. "I don't know what you're talking about but it'll be okay."

Minghao nodded and looked up at Jun, a small smile forming.

"Are you hungry?" Jun asked.

"Yeah, I could eat." Minghao nodded, smiling when he saw Jun's eyes light up.

"Good because I stole some food."

Minghao snorted and watched Jun take a container out of his pocket, "you're really weird"

"It's a talent," Jun said as he pulled a plastic fork from his other pocket, handing the utensil to the younger. They sat in comfortable silence again, and Jun would glance over every so often, noticing the boy would smile more as they ate.

"Do you feel better?"

Minghao nodded. "Thank you for walking me, I'm sorry I took you away from everyone."

"It's okay, they wont notice."

Minghao titled his head, he was about to question the older, but the phone ringing caught his attention. "That's mine, hold on." Jun pulled his phone out of his pocket and sighed, seeing his best friend calling.

"Hello? No, outside." Jun could hear yelling from the other end of the phone and laughed at the thought of what could have possibly happened. "No don't come look for me, I'll be there soon."

Minghao rocked back and forth eyeing the other as he talked, Jun just smiled, the sight made his heart feel warm. When Jun hung up the phone, he turned to Minghao.

"Something happened?"

"Yeah, Seungkwan and Mingyu."

Minghao let out a groan he didn't need to know more. He already knew the two could not coexist.

"Let's go back."

"Wait" Jun called, reaching his hand out to the other.

Minghao blinked in confusion at the hand, and the hand was taken by Jun.

"Your hands are soft" Jun smiled.

"Oh."

"Thanks."

Back on the rooftop everything seems to be ready and Jeonghan had arrived with Jisoo.
The two seemed to have come together. The tension In the room was thick with everyone seated.

Soonyoung had a bad habit of bouncing his leg when he got nervous. Jun, noticing this placed a hand on his knee, and Soonyoung stilled. Jihoon, who was sitting ahead of him, rolled his eyes. He had seen the two for too long today and their relationship was honestly annoying at this point.
