Short-lived relationship

"Come on baby..lets go to bed" Lois newest boyfriend Josh tells her as he was laying on the hotel bed that they were currently staying on. She been one-night stands, short term dating, or just with benefits.

She knew she was a horrible person and mother deep down. She was the reason why her daughter left home, never wanting to come home again. She felt that she was the reason why she and peter ended up splitting and the family is torn apart.

She didnt want to say she was selfish, but she wasnt a good person ethier. She hopes her boyfriend could understand why she been acting werid lately. "Lois?"Josh ask "Are you sure your okay? You seemed distant with me" he looks upset and she couldnt blame him.

She wasnt even paying any attention to him. 

What kind of girlfriend was she? 

"Look im having a rough night" she begins "I need some time to figure things out" she finished while he scowl at her. "I gave you chances to talk to me whats wrong" he tells her "Hell I even gave you a chance to cool off, and been doing that for weeks, no a month now" he said.

Lois begin to look upset "Look maybe we are just rushing through this..Im not even sure where this is even going. Our relationship I mean" she paused looking at him "I mean we only know each other for a few weeks"

He looked hurt. He really like Lois but she been giving him werid signals "What are you saying? Do you think we rush this?" he questioned her "I know you been going through a divorce but I just wanted to be with you regardless" he sighs "I used to love you..you know"

Lois gasped. 

She hadnt even thought about that. Josh loves her?

Wait what..loved her as in past tense.

"What?" she whispers her anger fading out. She hadnt realized it..of course she hadnt.

She was too much focused on her broken family.

"Now you only been cold and distant towards me and Im getting real sick of your shit" Josh got up from the bed and headed towards the closet as he was changing to his regular clothes. "I-I didnt mean to Josh! You understand me why I am like this?" she pleaded with him.

"Sorry Lois" he shook his head "We been going out for at least two months and you didnt seem to care about our relationship..why start now?" he grabs his luggage and headed towards the door.

He gave her a sad look "Im done Lois. We are done..sorry" he apologizes before he left her alone in their room.

As soon as the door closes shut, Lois screams before breaking down into sobs on the soft bed.

Why are bad things are happening to her?
