On a fateful night in July, a Little raccoon wandered across a bear.At first they clashed. The raccoons tail would puff and the bear would roar in their face, but the raccoon was stubborn.
The raccoon refused to give in. The raccoon knew their was a softness; an ever growing warmth beneath the Bears rough exterior.
For over a month, the raccoon worked, digging deeper to learn the bear inside and out. They'd bring him treats and gifts, they'd listen to him drone on and on about varying things all because they believed.
As days went by, something in raccoon shifted and Raccoon realized they'd fallen for the bear.
The bear though was vague and cryptic.
Early in September, the Bear and the raccoon were growing closer and closer and learning more and more about each other.
the Bear confessed "I have mixed feelings about something."
The raccoon asked; "about what?"
but the bear wouldn't say and instead asked The raccoon about berries.
It left raccoon to wonder.
They knew better than to pursue something with the bear; but deep down, the raccoon was almost certain they were meant to be nestled up in the bears furry, strong arms.
only time would tell; if the bear and the raccoon were meant to be.
