TANJIRO POV

I woke up, tired as ever. Weird... I've never had this happen to me before. Whatever it is probably nothing, I got up from my bed and got ready for training. Zenistu begged me to help him today, so I accepted. I was dreading it not going to lie... I mean Zenistu's a good friend and all, but the arguments he and Inosuke got into were ridiculous.

Once I was ready, I left outside toward the training area. The whole way there I was thinking about what happened with Muichiro... I was also thinking about what Kocho said, 'Mui, wouldn't do that would he?' 

I heard yelling in the direction I was walking, 'Great... more arguing.' But then I realized what was going on, It was Zenistu hiding behind Inosuke.

"Well, that's new..." I mumbled under my breath. I looked to see who Inosuke was yelling at, "Muichiro?" I asked confused.

They all turned to me, "This guy wants to fight!" Inosuke yelled. "No, all we did was ask him why he's nicer to you than us!" Muichiro scoffed, as he glared at the two. I sighed and walked forward, contemplating how I would solve this.

"Calm down you two, that's just the way he is-" "But that's not fair to us!" Zenistu interrupted me. I looked at Muichiro, "Sorry for their behavior Mui! They act like this all the time," I chuckled nervously, and he just smiled that smile only I could see, "I was waiting here for you, these two were just in my way was all!" He said suddenly cheery.

I smiled back, "Oh, alright." "What about training? You promised!" Zenistu said, "Sorry but maybe later?" I said, Mui grabbed my hand and ran off with me. I was too flustered to protest.

After a few minutes of running, I broke the silence. "So, did you need something?" I asked trying to pretend nothing had happened between us the night before, when I was indeed freaking out.

MUICHIRO POV

Why was he acting all normal? Did he completely forget, or just didn't care for what happened? I was kinda of hurt, but shook it off. "About last night..." I paused and looked down at the ground in embarrassment. He just stayed silent, with his handsome curious eyes.

"Look... I don't know if you understood why I did that, but I like you Tanjiro." I still didn't look up, afraid of the response I'd get. Tanjiro sighed in relief, I looked up confused, only to see his face just as red as mine.

"I like you too, Muichiro." 

I stood on my tippy toes, and Tanjiro chuckled understanding what I was trying to do.

His lips brushed up on mine, I wrapped my arms around his neck like I had always fantasized. We broke the kiss and smiled at each other.
