No one POV

The police and search parties have been looking for hours but still found nothing...

Tanjiro POV

I was about to go to bed when I heard a chime on my phone, I looked to see what it was.

It took me a few seconds to process what the message said, 'Im gonna say this one time, and you are going to listen understand?' It was an unknown number so I didn't respond. But then there was another chime, another message. 

'I asked you a question.' The text read.

'Who are you? What do you want?' 

'You. But that doesn't matter, now does it? Answer my question!' I started to get concerned.

'I understand...' I lied, I wanted to know what was going on.

'Good. Wanna play a game?' This has to be a prank right?

'A game?'

'I give you a dare everyday, the dares will get harder as time passes.' I decided not to respond anymore. I didn't feel tired from the adrenaline. Soon enough more chimes showed up.

I decided to check it... it was pictures of me and Mui at the fair... some of just Mui alone, and the last few photos were of me sitting on the couch I was now sitting on...

'If you tell you're little boyfriend about this you will regret it...'

'What the hell?!'

'The first dare is pretty easy, but if you don't do it, then I will do something to you're precious Mui...'

'...'

'Good. You're first dare, where are you right now?'

'I think you know...'

'haha, you catch on quick. Open the door...'

'What...'

'Do it... now,' I started to get scared, I didn't know what to do. But I didn't want something happening to Mui, so I slowly approached the door, cautiously. 

'Now open it...'

The text read. My hands were shaking, I was struggling to control my breathing.

But then a thought hit me, 'He wants me right? So what if I just lead him away from Mui? That could work...'

I was going to do it. I decided to place my phone in the kitchen, not like I was going to need it anyway... I didn't want Mui tracking me either.

I swung the door open locking it behind me, and closing it. I sprinted down the stairs, and soon enough I heard hard footsteps behind me... 'It's working!' 

I continued sprinting through the streets. I was running out of energy, I was getting slower and that wasn't good. I tripped on my own two feet and grunted as I roughly landed on the sore bruises, and burns.

I turned around to see a big dude following me, he then pointed an object at me. My heart dropped when I realized what it was... a gun.

"I told you, you would regret it..."

I gasped, he approached me, while I was frozen with fear.

Soon everything went black... I woke up tied to a chair and in an empty room. I grunted as the ropes that were tight around my chest rubbed against the sore parts of my body. I heard the door open and carefully watched as the person walked into the room.
