Hello everyone!
Well, well, it's been quite a ride getting here, hasn't it? Everyone has had his/her ups and downs in the competition, and this is the result where all that will either make you or break you.
Did you do enough? Could you have done more?
Before starting, we judges have some great news. We talked about and discussed it thoroughly and we have come to the decision that Wattpad's Next Rising Star WILL be returning for a second cycle!
Let's find out who the Top 16 are!
Now, to add some pressure, and make it fun, not ALL the results will be posted at once. You'll have to check in from time to time to see if your name's been added to the list, but fear not, the lists will be completed by the end of the day.
Before I move on, I have to mention that five people had to quit the contest, two of whom had secured a place in the Top 16, which means that the last two spots in the Top 16 lucked out!
Also, and this is important, we had a three-way tie for the last spot on in the Top 16, and had to resort to seeing who of the three had scored the highest individual score on any phase. Seeing that, oddly enough, all three had the same high score, we did the opposite; we looked at who of the three had the lowest individual score on any phase, and we finally found our 16th finalist!
Finally, for those of you who missed it, the Top 16 will be made up of the the 16 people with the highest combined total from all the phases, not the top 4 from each team. That was a mistake on my part(Vico), not the others.
Now that that's cleared, let's reveal some results, which are, for the first time, and MAYBE the last, IN ORDER OF HIGHEST TO LOWEST!
The results will be posted as follows: Phase One + Phase Two(A) + Phase Two(B) + Phase Three = Total/40.
For example: Vico96: 8 + 8 + 8 + 8 = 32/40.

Congratulations to EVERYONE! All of you did such a phenomenal job getting here and we are so proud of you for getting this far. Although we didn't want to see anyone get eliminated, this is a contest at the end of the day. Someone has to stay, and someone has to go.
Like always, we hope all the eliminated contestants come back for the second cycle! Now that you have a feel about the dynamic of the contest and how hard it can be, we think you'll twice as prepared for it next time around!
As for the Top 16, CONGRATULATIONS! You deserve it! Every one of you. You have survived 128 eliminations to get this far and it'll only get harder. Each one of you will be competing with the best of the best to win. It's going to be a blood bath. Come prepared.
The Top 16 will be divided into 4 groups of four and each judge will be assigned to one of the groups to mentor. We haven't divided you yet, so you'll get the name of your judge when we post Phase Four: The Rounds.
