Wattpad's Next Rising Star: Cycle 01

Round One - Results + ANNOUNCEMENT

Hello everyone!

First off, we'd like to apologize for the very late update. Us judges faced a lot of personal and technical difficulties during this task. There were those who didn't post on time, those who never got back to us, and one list that was never mentored due to one of our judges being way too busy.

Obviously, we need a solution, and as much as we would have liked to help, guide, and mentor you each week, that process takes up way too much time, and we have to get on with the competition.

So, here's what'll happen.

There will be no elimination this week. Consider Sci-Fi week a trial, or an extra experience to show you that no matter how well you think you've done, some of you still lack in certain areas. The grades that have been assigned will not be counted, and we start fresh.

Also, mentoring will sadly be canceled. The process will go back to how it was during the first phases. We give you a theme and a deadline, and you write your entry and send it in to be graded. We hope that you've gained something from Sci-Fi week, at least.

Although mentoring is canceled, your teams still stand. Each week, your mentor will give you their comments(not in detail, just generally) but will, of course, not grade your entries. This is jus for general input!

We offer you our sincerest apologies once again and we hope that we see all thirteen of you return!
