Hello, everyone, and welcome to part one of the Grand Final Results!
First off, allow us to apologize yet again for being late. Schoolwork will always be a priority. Also, we just heard back on one of the prizes a few days ago, and lost our guest judge, so it's been hectic!
Now for the final results. The four of you have fought hard, but only one of you can be Wattpad's Next Rising Star!
Let's start off with some general notes on the final task. You were asked to write a short poem and the first chapter of your debut WNRS book.
N4Z14_258, we all thought you did a great job on both pieces. Some of us were wowed by your debut chapter, while others thought it wasn't the best you could have given. However, we all agreed that your poem was good, considering it was your first in the competition. So, is this small road block going to keep you from getting to the finish line, or have your past entries secured you a spot in the winner's circle?
Talkingmushroom, it's no doubt we all think you are one of the dark horses in the competition. Going into this, we'd thought about who would make it to the end, and while a couple of our nominees did, you certainly took us by surprise! The opinions were mixed about your first chapter, but we all liked your poem! However, it's no secret you've had more than one stand-out moments in this competition. Were they enough to secure you a place in the Top 2?
Cilla848, who better than you to show that consistency is what gets you to the end? We all agreed that your poem was perhaps the best of the four, but a few of us had some issues with your first chapter! But has your consistency come through for you again?
FatelessForever, ever since the beginning, you've caught the attention of the judges. You are by far the most fluctuating terms of grades. It was either very high or just average each week, but you did have some show-stopping moments for sure! As for your first chapter, we thought it was probably the best of the group, and your poem didn't let us down either! Have you landed yourself in the Top 2?

Talkingmushroom! You have no idea how close you came! It came down to a quarter of a point between you and the person who earned the second spot in the Top 2. Congratulations! It has been a true priveledge and a joy to read your entires every week. You have a way of writing that captures the audience and always try to bring something new! We will surely miss your work and wish you the very best!
That means congratulations are in order to FatelessForever and Angel! Congratulations on making it to the Top 2 of WNRS! You have beaten 142 contestants and only one is in your way. Your entries were always a favourite of ours, and reading your entries was something to look forward to! Congratulations!
Well, that's it! Congrats to talkingmushroom and Cilla848 for taking 3rd and 4th place, respectively! You two deserved to get to where you are! You really did!
At the end of the day, though, there can only be one winner, and in this case, that winner is between Nazia and Angela. The judges will decide whether to pick a winner, or leave it to the grades to decide the Grand Final Winner!
