and welcome to the first of The Rounds!
So each week, one of the judges will be picking a prompt for you to write a one-shot about, and we start off with Evie!
Evie's pick for a genre is...
Science-Fiction...with a twist!
That's right, your very first task will be writing a Science-Fiction one-shot! The twist is, however, that your one shot MUST end in a cliffhanger!
Your one-shot can be about whatever you want, but it has to be scientifically-oriented!
Now that you've reached the Top 16, we'll be allowing you more freedom with your writing! Your one-shot can be up to 2 pages long (it's okay if there are a few lines on a third page)!
That's 1800 words on Micosoft word, or about two and a half pages on Microsoft Word! When you've finished, come back and post your link here as always!
DEADLINE: Friday, the 29th of March, 2013.
That's 8 days for you to submit. Note that we are going to be strict with the deadline from now on as we are on a schedule. So, no more leniency. If you haven't left word(by PM) that you'll be subitting late, and we don't see a submission from you by the end of the deadline, you WILL be eliminated automatically. So PLEASE don't force us to come to such a conclusion!
