Alexia

The sheets of the bed covered a majority of her body, but if someone were to ask me, I would know every inch of her body looked like. She was beautiful. Inside and out.

The sun bounced off her body, making her glow. The sun's what woke me up. I didn't fully close the curtains before everything last night. I rolled over to check the time. I did have to be at the Barça center today. 9:15...almost. I had some time, but not a lot of it.

I pulled the sheet down passed Sam's shoulders and started to place some feathery kisses across her shoulder.

"Good morning," She folded her arms and laid her head on them, facing me.

"Buenos días, mi amor. I have to go into the training facility today."

"Mmm. So, you woke me up?"

"Sí. I wasn't trying to. Lo siento. You get some more sleep. I'll take care of Riley before I go." I placed one last kiss on her shoulder.

I started to get up. "Ale," she grabbed my wrist. "Last night was amazing."

I leaned down and kissed her head. "Te amo mucho, Sam."

I made my way into the bathroom where I took a quick shower. I changed into my Barça training shorts then headed downstairs. My shirt was still in the drier, not dried, so I turned it on. I quietly peeked into Riley's room. Nala heard me and got up, but Riley stayed sound asleep.

I fed Nala and put her outside. As I was making myself something, there was a knock on the front door. It seemed too early for someone to be here. I walked to the front door and opened it.

"Jenni?" I was confused.

"Hola, Alexia. Can I come in?"

"No."

"Don't be that way." She walked in. "How are you doing? I'm sorry about your knee."

"I'm doing great, actually. What are you doing here? The last time you showed up unannounced—"

"We fucked, yes."

"Second biggest regret of my life." I mumbled. "What do you want? I'm not in the mood for whatever tantrum you're wanting to throw."

"I believe I left something here. Something of mine."

"Can you be specific and quick? I have a busy day, Jenni."

"I can't seem to find a shirt of mine."

"Are you being for real?" I scoffed. "Get out. If I find anything of yours, I'll let you know. I've burned most of it...with Mapí's encouragement."

"Ale—"

"I'm hungry." A little voice interrupted. Our heads snapped. Riley. Great.

Just fucking great.

"Buenos días, Princesa. I'll make you something before I go."

"This is new."

"Shut up. You should—need to go. I have things to do."

"Since when are you a mother—"

"Jenni, I am so serious. I refuse to be angry in front of a child, but I'm so close to snapping at you. Go."
