In Joshua 14 to 16, tales unfold,
Of land divided, promises foretold.
From Caleb's inheritance to Ephraim's claim,
These stories twine with heavenly aim.Caleb, a warrior of faith and might,
In his old age, still sought the fight.
He said, "Give me this mountain, for I am bold,
As the Lord commanded, I shall behold."His faith was rewarded, as promised true,
The land of Hebron, his portion grew.
A land flowing with milk and honey's delight,
Caleb conquered, with the Lord's holy light. The tribe of Ephraim, bold and strong,
Received their portion where they belong.
From Jericho to the wilderness wide,
God led them forth, with His faithful stride. The Canaanites, stubborn in their hold,
Fought against Ephraim, strong and bold.
But they persevered, with faith unswayed,
And the land of promise became their shade. These tales of conquest, twisted yet bright,
With captivating vocabularies, alight.
Reflect on the blessings, the battles faced,
In God's sovereignty, find steadfast grace.
