The next day, determined to avoid his tormentors, Izuku left home earlier than usual. He chose a shortcut through the bustling streets, hoping to reach school without crossing paths with the familiar faces that had made his life miserable.

As he hurried along the narrow alleyways, trying to keep his head down, he caught sight of a distressing scene. A young girl, her face filled with fear and distress, was cornered by a taller man who loomed over her, making inappropriate advances despite her clear rejections and pleas to be left alone.

"P-please leave me alone sir. I'm just trying to get home,"

"Aww come on," the man slurred, "let me take you home,"

"No thank you. And I'm a minor for your own information," the girl said, clearly trying to sound firm and leave him.

But the man grabbed the girl's arm causing her to wince.

"Come on, beautiful. Why don't we have some fun?~" he said, forcing the girl's body against his. He had a nasty look in his eyes and the girl was clearly shaken.

Anger welled up inside Izuku, a burning indignation at the injustice he saw before him. Without another thought, he glanced around for anything he could use to intervene. His eyes fell on a discarded metal pipe, and he picked it up, gripping it tightly in his hands.

Without a second thought, a surge of anger and protectiveness washed over Izuku. He spotted a discarded metal pipe nearby and swiftly picked it up, gripping it tightly. He approached the man with determination, his steps silent, and then swung the pipe, delivering a precise blow to the back of the man's head.

The man collapsed, unconscious, and the girl stared in shock at her unexpected saviour. Izuku quickly moved to her side, dropping the pipe and gently reassuring her, "It's okay, I won't hurt you. Are you alright?"

The girl, her eyes filled with tears and gratitude, nodded shakily. "Thank you... Thank you so much."

Relieved that the girl was safe, Izuku couldn't help but notice her beauty, a striking contrast to the harshness of the world around them. He felt a warmth in his chest, knowing he had made a difference in her life, even if it was just for a moment.

She finally mustered the courage to ask, "Who are you? Why did you help me?"

Izuku shyly introduced himself. "My name is Izuku. I couldn't stand by and let that guy try to hurt you."

The girl's eyes widened in recognition. "Izuku... thank you ever so much. You saved me. My name is Momo Yaoyorozu, and I'm so incredibly grateful to you. You saved me from a terrible situation, and I owe you a debt."

He was shocked that it was the Yaoyorozu heiress that he'd saved. He'd heard Izumi talk about her before, but he never actually knew what she looked like.

Izuku, whose heart was warmed by her gratitude, waved off her concerns. "You don't owe me anything. I-I just couldn't ignore what was happening."

Momo gave him a kind smile, which made him blush.

"It's alright. Y-you aren't hurt at all a-are Yaoyorozu?" he asked.

She shook her head, "No, and please, call me Momo."

"O-ok!"

Their unexpected encounter had forged a connection between them, one born out of a shared moment of vulnerability and the kindness of a stranger. As they continued to talk, Izuku couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness that had enveloped his life.

As the two walked, Momo expressed her gratitude once more, her voice filled with sincerity. "Izuku, I can't thank you enough for what you've done for me. You're like... a real hero."
