The next morning, Eraser Head stood before the UA staff, a grim expression etched on his face. The teachers had gathered for their regular morning meeting, and it was evident that something was weighing heavily on the pro-hero's mind.

Aizawa began, "Last night, I had an encounter with Embervenin." The name alone sent ripples of tension through the room.

"You ran into Embervenin? You actually saw him up close?" asked Midnight.

"I didn't run into him, per se. He appeared at the scene of a villain attack. I arrived just a few minutes after he did." Aizawa continued, "He didn't attack me after he noticed me. He just stared at me. Intensely. And he didn't even try to escape when I approached."

The teachers shared a collective sigh of relief that their colleague was unharmed. However, the news that Embervenin had actually spoken to Aizawa was surprising and raised more questions.

All Might spoke first, "Aizawa, that's unusual. He's known for not speaking to anyone, let alone a pro-hero. What did he say?"

Aizawa sighed, his eyes heavy with fatigue. "Most of his responses were cryptic. He didn't provide many details about himself or his motivations. But I can say for sure that he has some kind of connection to Eri."

The mention of Eri hit the teachers like a punch to the gut. They had been searching for her ever since the Overhaul incident when she went missing. All attempts to locate her had proven futile, and suspicions had arisen that Embervenin and Aquashock were involved in her disappearance.

Aizawa continued, "I couldn't get much information out of him, but I have no doubt that he knows something about Eri's whereabouts. I just don't know how deep that connection runs or what kind of situation she might be in."

The room fell silent, the weight of uncertainty hanging heavy in the air. Eri's fate was a cause of constant concern for the heroes, and Embervenin's involvement only fueled their worries.

Taking in the information, Principle Nezu spoke up, "If we come across Eri or any trace of her, we must act. Her safety is important. But do not underestimate Embervenin or Aquashock. As we've seen, they have no qualms about eliminating threats."

All the teachers nodded in agreement. They were committed to protecting Eri and ensuring that she was safe.

Meanwhile...

In an undisclosed location, Shigaraki was lying on a surgical bed, his body bound and a seething rage bubbling within him. His arms, once mangled and burned beyond recognition by the vigilantes Embervenin and Aquashock, still remained in a dire state.

The memories of that fateful encounter haunted Shigaraki. He had once considered recruiting the vigilantes, believing that their shared contempt for the hero society could unite them. He now yearned for nothing more than to see them dead.

"Tomura, you must calm yourself," All for One advised. "You'll only do more damage to your body in this state."

Shigaraki clenched his teeth, unable to heed the advice of his master.  "Why is it taking so long!" Shigaraki growled, his words laden with venom. "Those damned vigilantes... they did this to me! They burned my arms! They nearly killed me!"

All For One leaned closer to inspect Shigaraki's injuries. His arms had definitely improved from the state they were in originally but still needed a lot more fixing. His quirk had already been put to use in an attempt to speed up Shigaraki's healing. Despite the vast power at his command, the process was slower than expected. He was well aware that it wasn't just the physical injuries that hindered the process but something more insidious.
