The royal gardens of the Dragon Kingdom were a peaceful sanctuary, filled with vibrant and exotic flora, enchanting fountains, and delicate, colourful butterflies that danced through the air. As the afternoon sun bathed the garden in a soft, warm light, Tyrell and Izuku found themselves seated on a stone bench, each immersed in their own books. Izuku had a tome on dragon history, eager to learn more about his newfound heritage, while Tyrell was engrossed in a volume of magical healing spells.

Izuku's curiosity about the realm of magic and the nature of their abilities had been insatiable, and he seized the moment to ask Tyrell a personal question. With a considerate tone, he inquired, "Tyrell, I hope you don't mind me asking, but since you also have two dragon powers—electricity and water—did your biological parents have individual dragon powers? And if so, who had what?"

Tyrell closed his book and glanced at his brother with a warm smile. "It's not something I talk about often, but I don't mind sharing with you," he said. "My father was a water dragon mage, and my mother was an electric dragon mage. They were both incredibly skilled and powerful, from what I've heard."

Tyrell let out a sigh as he continued, "I... unfortunately, I don't remember much about them, though. I was only four when they... when they died."

Izuku's eyes softened with understanding as he sensed the pain in Tyrell's voice. "I'm sorry, Tyrell. You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to."

Tyrell offered a small but appreciative smile. "It's okay, Izuku. I appreciate your concern. I've come to terms with it over the years. It was a tragic event, but it's shaped who I am now."

With a deep breath, Tyrell continued, sharing his past. "I don't remember much about my time with them, but from the little that I do remember... I know that they loved me."

Izuku's expression filled with sympathy as he placed a comforting hand on Tyrell's shoulder. "I'm sorry to hear that. Losing your parents at such a young age must have been incredibly difficult."

Tyrell nodded and offered a grateful smile. "Kinda. I think the hardest part was being an orphan. I spent a lot of time in foster care back in England. None of the families I stayed with really wanted me. Being an orphan from a different racial background and having unknown powers seemed to be a barrier for me. I knew they only cared about the money they received for taking care of me. I never really fit in with any of them. It was a lonely and frustrating time."

"You... you weren't ever harmed by them, were you?" Izuku asked.

"Well, I definitely wasn't paid that much attention to, especially if those families had other kids. I was never harmed physically, but I did face plenty of neglect. But I could never speak out about it. I doubt the organisation I was put with would have believed me. Or cared."

Izuku listened with empathy, understanding how challenging Tyrell's upbringing had been. He could empathise with Tyrell because he'd gone through similar things. Sure, Izuku's situation would be considered worse, but they still shared similarities that involved those that they had lived with until now.

"When I met our father, though," Tyrell continued, a warmth returning to his voice, "I thought he might be another foster parent. I was sceptical at first, considering my past experiences, but when he told me he was adopting me, I felt like my life was finally turning around. Hisashi has been a true blessing. My life has been amazing since he adopted me and brought me here. I'm not sure where I'd be now if it weren't for him."

As the brothers continued their conversation and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of the royal gardens, they knew that their newfound family bond was something truly special. They had faced challenges in their pasts, but now they had each other.
