As Tyrell and Izuku entered the majestic palace, they were met with a scene of grandeur and respect. Everyone they passed by, be they humans or dragons, made gestures of courtesy and offered their greetings to Tyrell. It was clear that he held a position of great importance as the adopted son of Hisashi, the crown prince.
But what caught the attention of the palace inhabitants was the striking resemblance between Izuku and Hisashi. Whispers and hushed conversations followed in their wake as some onlookers couldn't help but wonder if Izuku might be Hisashi's long-lost biological son. The possibility of this unknown connection buzzed through the palace like a tantalizing secret.
Izuku, for his part, was a mix of emotions—nervousness and curiosity mingled with a newfound sense of hope. He was keenly aware of the expectations and speculation that surrounded him, and he couldn't help but wonder what awaited him as he ventured deeper into the palace, closer to the moment when he would finally meet his father.
Tyrell raised his hand to knock on the door, but before his knuckles could make contact with the oak, it was suddenly flung wide open before him.
Standing in the doorway was a man of remarkable presence and stature. He stood very tall at around 6'4, his black hair neatly tied back, and his regal attire adorned with a crown that marked him as a figure of immense authority within the realm of magic.
Izuku knew who he was facing when he saw the very familiar freckles shaped like diamonds on the man's cheeks.
This is the crowned prince of the Dragon kingdom.
This is Hisashi Midoriya.
This is his real father.
The presence of Hisashi was palpable, radiating authority and power, not only as a royal but also in terms of his magic. He had come to the door sensing a unique blend of fire and poison magic that could only belong to one person—his long-lost biological son.
Hisashi's eyes widened as they fell upon Izuku, and tears welled up in his own. Overwhelmed with emotion, he stepped forward, closing the distance between them. Without a word, he enveloped Izuku in a tight embrace, as if afraid that if he let go, this moment would disappear like a dream.
Izuku, too, felt the tears welling up in his eyes as he returned the embrace. In that instant, the connection between father and son, forged by magic and destiny, was undeniable. It was a moment of profound reunion and the beginning of a new chapter in both their lives—a chapter filled with the love and acceptance Izuku had longed for but had never received back on Earth.
After their heartfelt embrace, Hisashi gently released Izuku and took a step back, looking into his son's eyes with a mixture of love and sadness. He introduced himself, his voice filled with sincerity,
"Izuku, I... I am Hisashi Midoriya, your father. I can't express how happy I am to finally meet you,"
Izuku's heart swelled with warmth as he looked at the man before him, his real father, finally known and present in his life. Overwhelmed by gratitude, he spoke, "Thank you, F-father. I already feel like you're the father I've always wanted."
Hisashi's eyes glistened with tears of happiness, and he couldn't help but smile. Hearing Izuku call him 'Father' already, meant the world to him.
"I'm also sorry for what you went through back in Japan. Tyrell told me that he had come across a child who held some resemblance to me. I asked him to look further into you and he also told me about how you were treated. I wish i had done something sooner."
Izuku gave his father a small smile. "You have no reason to say sorry. It's not your fault at all. I'm just... happy to be somewhere that already feels like home."
