I stayed behind at a beach house near the bay. I needed time to adjust and think.
But all my thoughts went in circles and returned to our group.
Camus and his high and might and regal-ness.
Ranmaru and his cold and cool style.
Reiji and his joy and his love for all of us.
And Ai... Ai and... Just everything about him.
I was losing them to a kohai I hated. I couldn't lose them. But, yet I'm pushing them away.
I shook my head as I finished off the piece I was writing with a flourish.
I had written yet another song for them.
But of course, according to Shining, one not good enough to be sent as an entry song.
I sighed. I had work tomorrow, I needed to get back.
After a little swim.

I splashed into the water, enjoying the cool and refreshing feeling.
Reiji has a recording today.
Camus has a talk show.
Ranmaru has a tv show.
Ai has to do an interview.
I smiled. I knew them like the back of my hand.
Climbing out after a few hours, I washed off and checked my phone.
Hundreds upon hundreds of texts from them appeared.
'Where r u?'
'_______, I'm worried about you!'
'You've been away too long.'
'_______ please come home.'
'______ we're waiting.'
Bunches of texts like that came up... Then, I saw it.
'________. Come back. I love you.... We all love you. If it makes you feel any better, in truth, I don't really feel this song that your kohai wrote.' -Ai
'_______... I'll tell you one thing. I don't really like that peasant's song. I guess her composing impressed me once.' -Camus
'BAKA! I'm worried sick about you! We all are! What's wrong with you?! Just to tell you... That kohai of yours is just a one hit wonder.' -Ranmaru
'________________-chan!!! WHERE ART THOU? I MISS THOU! COME BACK HOME... THOU? Idk... Lol... Please, come home. She cannot compose a good as you. Believe me... Our group wouldn't be here if you couldn't compose as good as her.' -Reiji
I smiled.
Alright. Let's go home.

*time skip*

I trudged along the crowded street. A music folder in one hand and my luggage in another.
I haven't seen the guys in what felt like forever.
But, I didn't want to go back.
I couldn't go back.
Haruka Nanami was there, hoarding all the effing boys!!
I passed out of the city and into the quiet suburbs near the agency.
The agency came into view too quickly.
What's if those texts were just a coaxing to get me home? What if it was just bluff and they really like Nanami's song?
Doubts clouded my mind once more... What happened to me? Why was I doubting my best friends and lover?
I opened the gate quietly. Home sweet home.
I walked on the path, and found a sparkling stone in my path along with a small pouch.
This stone was my favorite color, (fav. color), and it had one phrase. "Follow me."
So, hung my luggage on my shoulder, held my folder under my arm, and picked up each stone that appeared in my path. They had little words and phrases on them.
"Love"
"Faith"
"Hope"
"Best girl ever"
To name a few.
I picked up the last stone. I was in the back garden, the fountain sparkling.
Soft music played through a speaker.
I knew that tune. I wrote it for them, a four way song dedicated to what felt for them.
"You're My Life..." I whispered with a smile.
The boys came out with serene smiles in their lips. They were still wearing true work clothes. They looked disheveled and tired, but the light in their eyes, their smiles, and the way they sang said otherwise.

I had tears running down my face as I dropped my luggage and rushed towards them. "Guys!" I yelled.
I jumped into their open arms. "________." They whispered, relieved. "You never told us you were going to stay behind."
"Gomen." I said, wiping my tears. "And the texts-"
They smiled. "We meant every word."
"What's this?" Ai asked, pulling the folder from my hand.
"Nothing worthy of the Triple S." I answered.
The boys opened it and read my music. "It's us." They whispered.
I looked to them. "Huh?"
They all turned.
"You've always been ours, my baroness." Camus said.
"I'm not going to sing something as a member of QUARTET NIGHT some other composer who's not ours wrote." Ranmaru said.
"You're my only one." Ai said. "My only composer, my only love, my only ______."
"You're the life of QUARTET NIGHT." Reiji said. "Without you, QUARTET NIGHT wouldn't exist."
I smiled.
"Now, about this song for the Triple S..." Ai said, taking out five pens and handing them to us.
"We're going against Shining?!" I cried.
"If STARISH can, then we can too." Camus answered.
We sprawled out on the grass in a messy circle.
We pulled an all nighter. But we finished.
I awoke at sunrise just to get a peek at them.
Reiji had his mouth open and muttered something. He had grass stains on his jacket and knees.
Camus had leaves in his hair, he slept on his side. His perfectly pressed and white attire was tinged with a sickly grass green.
Ranmaru's hair was everywhere and his clothes had various dirt stains on it.
Ai's hair had fallen from its twist and was now blending in with the grass. He had blades of grass on his shirt and pants.
I was probably messy too.
I fell back asleep once more.
After what seemed like 10 seconds of more rest, there was a rustle of paper.
I ignored it. I guess everyone else did, too.
"OMAE-TACHI!" Ryuya yelled.
We all jumped awake.
"Ohayo!" Reiji called sleepily.
"Ugh." Ranmaru and Camus said.
"Hmm?" Ai asked.
"Meh... Morning." I said.
"Late for work, aren't you?" He snapped with a smile.
"Ah! I have a radio talk show!" Ranmaru cried.
"I've got to do a recording!" Camus cried.
"________, we have a magazine interview!" Ai said.
"Huh?" I cried.
"I've a variety show" Reiji exclaimed.
Ai pulled me along as I rubbed my eyes and grabbed my stuff.
Camus and Ranmaru ran ahead.
Reiji jogged sleepily after us.

We had an arrangement and a recording for our song later that day, in secret.
We walked down the hall, and peeked into the open music room. Haruka Nanami was still asleep on the piano.
I sent them questioning looks and the shrugged.
"Reiji," Ai said. "You said to STARISH earlier that you were going to kidnap her and leave her on the street."
Reiji smirked. "Just a joke."
"That Kurusu and Aijima punched you for." Camus said.
Reiji shrugged. "She made _______-chan sad!"
Ranmaru nodded. "I'd ship her in a small box to Antarctica."
I smiled. "I love you all."
They nodded, returning my smile.
We marched to Shining's office, slammed open the door and threw the CD at him... Gently cause we didn't want to be fired.
He listened to it and looked at us.
"Well?" Ranmaru demanded.
"IIIIIIIIII ffeeeeelll aaasssss I've made a mistake letting a stranger to your group compose for you!" Shining said. "It's one thing to know some one individually, but another to know what they can do as a group. As a group, the five of you are different than your individual selves. Now, tell me, Miss ________!"
I looked to him.
"What is the name of this song I will enter as QUARTET NIGHT's entry song?"
"Answer." I answered.
He nodded. "Well, then. I hope you five have started coreography!"
We nodded. "Hai!"
And we ran out of his office and into our music room.
"We have to make this last concert together good." Reiji said. "It might be our last time performing with _______."
"Iya." I answered.
"Eh?!" They cried.
"I've got my song for the Triple S. I'm out of my slump. I can see the road clearly again." I said. "This is going to be our best concert yet."
Ai kissed me on the cheek. "I'm glad you didn't break your promise."
I nodded. "Now, let's get this thing started!"
They cheered.

Yay! No quitting! Yay, I've change the plot. You composed Answer/Evolution Forever and Nanami composed The Dice are Cast. How will it end?! What will happen? Tune in next week!
Comment and vote, Arigato! ^-^ And, did I make your heart go Doki~Doki~?
