UtaPri: Ai x Reader

Ch. 20

Ryuya suddenly grabbed each of us and set us in one of the practice rooms of the island. He gave each of us our respected clothing items and put us on TV.
Ryuya set the camera on a tripod and took up a mic.
"Now, we will move on to the third group of the UtaPri nomination, QUARTET NIGHT. The only team with a girl for this award!"
"Domo, domo!" Ryuya said. "We are currently in a recording room, finishing up practice."
"Please," said the host. "Tell us what you think about being nominated."
Ryuya held the mic to Rei-chan's face. "A...Ano," Rei-chan said with a smile. "We think that it's a blessing. We've worked so hard, and this is what we're awarded with. Gomen, kohai-tachi, demo, atashi-tachi makenai yo!"
There was some idle chatter between the STARISH boys and HEAVENS. I only paid attention when Saotome suddenly appeared on camera and announced the thing that made my heart stop.
"Ja, then, it's a deal. If either of the groups in Shining Entertainment loose, then one or the other, or Both, will have to disban." Shining said, laughing.
Right after Ryuya turned off the camera, I fainted.

Ai's POV:
I saw the terror in her eyes when Shining announced that we might disban. My heart ached at the sight of the fear in her eyes. But, she was strong. She always was. She smiled for the camera, said a few words, heck, she even put on a romantic scene between us.
But, then... she fainted.
I know we're not really a group. We only worked and debuted on Shining's orders... but, we were friends. Disbanning would hurt the relationship we have, it would hurt her. __________ always thought of us as hers. We were on her team. We were her friends. And, I was hers and hers alone.
If we disban, the public would think lowly of us, feel sorry for us, think that we're each blaming each other for the disban. And, our love would be hurt badly, too... not just our image.
I stayed with her that night. She was still out cold, but, resting.
"Ne," I whispered into her ear as I settled next to her. I didn't bother to change. "Daijoubu. The percent of us winning is about more than half."
I wasn't even sure! That's how talented HEAVENS was, along with the kohais. Something I can't explain...

Your POV:
I woke up the next morning to have Ai, fully dressed and ready, lead me to my room.
"__________," he whispered.
I turned to him as I opened the door a crack. "Nya~ (=^_^=)" he said with the most adorable cat face.
My face heated up as a dreamy smile appeared on my face. He seemed satisfied with that as he walked away calling behind him, "10 minutes!"
I fell through my door, took that oh-so-famous 5 second shower, changed into (f/c) high tops, light leggings, jean shorts, a light colored off-shoulder sweater with two (f/c) bows on either sleeve. I combed my hair, and instantly ran to the car.

We walked in as HEAVENS finished their recording.
"Ahh, more Shinng people!" Nagi cried as they came up. "Ne, onee-san. You want to be on our team? Your voice could really balance us out."
Otori studied us hard. "Ii yo," he said. "You are serious about this! Compared to those newbies, I'd say you're pretty good. That's all I give you."
Then, they walked away.
"Baka bakashi." Ranmaru said. "Pretty good my foot. We're awesome!"
Rei-chan high fived him as Camus took the lead. "You bet we are!" Rei-chan cried.

We walked out feeling refreshed.
"That was great!" Rei-chan said.
"Hai! I almost forgot how amazing we wound together!" I cried.
As we got back, we saw the STARISH boys, Tomochika, and Haruka huddled over a magazine. All three of the nominee groups were on the front page.
"Oh, they seem to be having fun." Rei-chan said.
"Pfftt. As if," Ai said. "They should be worrying about practice right now. How they sound, dance moves, they're so... carefree!"
"And you're so uptight," I teased.
He rolled his eyes at me, and I stuck out my tongue.

After that, I locked myself up in a practice room.
My head was spinning with all of these events... it was overwhelming. Why Raging?! My heart was aching with the two questions that haunted me the most- what would happen to our careers after we disban? And, what about my love life with Ai?
I stood up, feeling the need for fresh air. Locking myself in a room would do nothing.

3rd Person POV:
Ai turned a corner as he saw _________ walk out of the practice room she's been in for 30 minutes.
He followed her all over the estate. (Kya, stalker Ai mode! ^_^♥)
It pained him to see her like this. Confused, alone, wandering. What could he do to make her feel better? To ease her from the stress.
(P.S. that's what she said. ;p)

Yes! Guys, we're almost finished. BTW, I'm doing the UtaPri episode 14 Christmas special too! (*^_^*)
