Becky's Pov
Just another typical day. I'm walking through the crowd in the central mall. There's probably thousands of people here all going on about their lives without worry. But not me, I'm not here for me but for another life. Yes, I'm following my next victim? No, I never call them my victims. In fact, they are never the victims, they deserves what they get. May be I will call them my targets. Yes, that's better. So who are they? How do I choose them? It's easy, actually. There are plenty of bad people in this world. I mean, no one is inherently good, are they? I work for one of the top lawyers in the country, and it's not that hard to find someone who gets away from the law. It's always the ones that get away. Yeah, I choose them, I watch them, and then the final act at the right moment.
There he is, my next target, happy and smiling. He thinks he got away with it. He has no idea what's coming for him. I don't feel sympathy or pain, but I saw how a family was torn apart because of him. How devastated they were. He is a murderer. And he killed innocent kids, little boys. Now tell me, does he deserve to live? And I know he will do it again because I know exactly how he feels now. But kids? Never.
I'm waiting for my move. Every action matters. Each calculation must be precise. One slip up and everything falls apart. I have to be meticulous, cunning, and above all, strong and smart. At this point, no mistakes can be afforded. I have something on the line now, someone who I can't give up on. Using a gun straight away is sloppy. They can be traced back to you one way or another. But they can come in handy. Knives are better if we make sure to leave no traces. But getting someone like him requires asserting strength and fear. And I know exactly what to do. I'm not going to give him an easy way out. He deserves pain. The same amount of pain he inflicted, right? I'm waiting and waiting for the final act. The part that excites me most.
As soon as he entered his car, I strangled him from behind. Yes, that's right. That's how you inflict fear and pain at the same time, and being strong is important here. I always keep fit. Even though you may think I'm a mere woman, I'm not, quite literally, if you catch my drift, that is. And the rope it shouldn't be large. It should be small and tight.
"Drive." I told him.
He struggled for a while. Once he accepted, he had no other choice, but he started driving. That's the thing about pain and fear. The combination is deadly. There's too many people, too many eyes which are never ideal. I gave him the directions, and once we reached the intended final destination i picked out for him, I told him to get out. This is the part where they get brave and try to attack, so you have to be smart about this part. A gun can do the work.
"Nice and easy. Don't do anything stupid." I said, pointing the gun at him.
"Please let me go. Why are you doing this?"
"You really don't know? Did those kids tell you to stop, and did you listen?"
"I'm sorry, ok? I couldn't stop myself. I had to."
"To kids? They were little boys who didn't know the atrocities of this world."
"I'm sorry...I'm really sorry....You do this too you can understand, right?"
"No, I don't. You killed innocent kids. I would never."
"Why?" Seriously? He didn't just ask me that!
"Because even I have standards." I can see that he's terrified. Well, it serves him right.
"You know what? You are going to wish that you didn't get away from the law."
(A/N - I'm not going into details since it can be too disturbing. If you would like me to, let me know, and I'll try.)
Another one down. Another one for the police to investigate, the media to feast on. Sometimes I wonder if I'm ever gonna stop? I think if they catch me may be this will end. But then again, it will be freen on the other side. Do I want that? Never. Getting rid of any and every evidence is necessary. So infact a do over of the entire thing is necessary. I made sure I didn't leave anything.
