Hi once again! Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been trying to find some motivation somewhere... Currently on a plane when writing this, so I can probably finish the story today!

Luke's POV:

As I stood at the end of the corridor, my heart danced with anticipation. The soft, melodic notes of the violin filled the air, creating a beautiful backdrop for this momentous occasion. The guests had taken their seats, their whispers mingling with the gentle rustle of excitement. But amidst the flurry of activity, my focus was solely on one person—Zander.

Zander, my love, my partner, and the one who completes me. We had been through so much together, overcoming challenges and celebrating triumphs side by side. And right then, we were about to embark on a new chapter of our lives, bound together in matrimony.

As I waited, time seemed to stretch far, each passing second feeling like an lifetime I had to sit and wait for. My palms grew moist, and I took a deep breath, savoring the fragrance of the flowers adorning the corridor. The white petals that scattered the isle symbolised purity and the start of a new beginning—a perfect reflection of the love we shared.

Suddenly, a hush fell over the room, signaling the approach of the moment I had been yearning for. My heart skipped a beat as I caught a glimpse of Zander's silhouette at the far end of the corridor. The soft glow from the dimmed lights illuminated his figure, causing me to light up with excitement.

Zander moved with grace, his steps deliberate and measured. Each stride brought him closer to me, and with every passing second, my emotions swelled within me, threatening to overflow. My eyes locked onto his, and in that instant, everything else faded away—the guests, the decorations, the world itself. It was just Zander and me, connected by an unbreakable bond.

As he drew nearer, I marveled at his elegance. His tailored suit fit him perfectly, accentuating his broad shoulders and slender waist. His dark hair was impeccably styled, and his clear blue eyes sparkled with a mixture of nervousness and excitement. He radiated a quiet confidence, a beacon of strength that had always drawn me to him.

Zander's soft smile tugged harshly at my heartstrings, warming my soul. It was a smile that conveyed his love, his devotion, and his unwavering commitment to our journey together. It was a smile that reassured me that, no matter what lay ahead, we would face it as a team.

As he reached my side, time seemed to stand still. We gazed into each other's eyes, our hands trembling as they found solace in the touch of the other. The world around us faded into insignificance, and in that moment, it was as if we were the only two people in existence.

In the depths of his eyes, I saw a reflection of my own emotions—love, joy, and a profound sense of gratitude. Gratitude for the winding path that had led us to this very moment, where our love was celebrated and cherished by those closest to us.

With a whispered promise in his eyes, Zander took my hand, and together we stepped forward, united in our love and ready to embark on this incredible adventure called marriage. And as we walked down the aisle, surrounded by the love and support of our friends and family, I knew, without a shadow of a doubt, that this was just the beginning of a lifetime of love and happiness with my soulmate.

The only thing I could care about then was right in front of me, a handsome man, a man I loved.

After the beautiful ceremony, the air was filled with jubilant energy as we made our way to the reception venue. The room was adorned with twinkling lights, vibrant flowers, and a dance floor that beckoned us to celebrate.

As Zander and I entered the reception, we were greeted by thunderous applause and the uplifting melodies of our favorite song. The joyous atmosphere enveloped us, infusing every fiber of our beings with pure bliss. We were surrounded by the smiling faces of our loved ones, their cheers and well-wishes filling the air.

The festivities began in earnest as we took our seats at the head table, our eyes never straying far from each other. The toasts were heartfelt, filled with laughter and tears of happiness.

"A toast to the groom~ To the- Groom-? FROM MILLYYY WHO IS ALWAYS BY YOUR SIDEEE!!" Milly recited, clearly being a Hamilton reference.

Our best friends regaled everyone with stories from our journey together, reminding us of the adventures we had shared and the love we had nurtured.

Amidst the clinking of champagne glasses, Zander and I stole moments to steal glances at each other, our eyes sparkling with love and contentment. We relished in the knowledge that we had found our forever in each other, and this celebration was a testament to the strength of our bond.

As the night went on, more speeches went on, I loved all of them, but specifically one from Hailey.

Z: LUKE DONT YOU DARE REPEAT THAT.
L: COME ON!! WHY NOT??
Z: IT WAS EMBARRASSING.
L: PLEASE??
H: I'll tell it
Z: HAILEY I SWEAR ON THE LIFE OF LUNI IF YOU DO THAT I WILL KILL YOU.
H: I WILL TAKE THAT RISK.

Hailey's POV:

Anyways. My speech was by far the best apparently to Luke, so why don't I enlighten you?

"When me and Zander were children, we did everything together. We shared toys and a room, we learned to care for each other, and as people do, we faded away very vaguely. But that never changed the fact I love him, and apparently some people do too."

Zander looked at me with a look that said 'Don't you dare do what I think you want to.'

But of course I did.

"As mere teenagers, Zander met his husband Luke for the first time. Though they had been childhood friends, it was only then that he was unblinded by ginger hair." I carried on, swirling the sparkling liquid around in my glass as I stared at Zander.

"That made no sense." I heard him mumble under his breath at my terrible English skills. Thank god I never became a teacher.

"There were nights I would find Zander squealing and kicking his legs like a child when he looked at pictures of Luke, a-"

"That's enough! Don't ruin my marriage before it's even started please-" Zander shouted, blushing.

That was the best day ever.
