No-one's POV:

Zander's excitement was palpable as he planned a small surprise outing for Luke's birthday. This time, he knew exactly where to take him - a toy store just outside of their city that was a hoarders dream, for stuffed animals. Zander understood Luke's affection for stuffed animals, a charming obsession that had become endearing to both of them.

Their bed was filled with them; all colours, species and textures. They originally started to buy them for Fluffy, but eventually Luke became more attached to them than Fluffy ever would have.

As they entered the toy store, Luke's eyes widened in childlike wonder. The shelves were lined with rows upon rows of adorable plush creatures, each one begging for his undivided attention. Zander couldn't help but chuckle at Luke's genuine excitement, knowing that he had hit the bullseye with his surprise.

They explored the lengthy aisles, examining each stuffed animal with the upmost care. Zander watched as Luke's eyes lit up when he spotted a particularly adorable stuffed cat. Without a moment's hesitation, Zander reached out and added it to their growing collection inside of a basket.

"Happy birthday, my love," Zander said, his voice filled with affection. "I can't resist getting these little guys for you. Now we have more friends to join our bed." He laughed.

Luke's face beamed with joy as he held the stuffed animals close, feeling the softness of their against his cheek. "Thank you, Zander. You always know how to make me feel special. Our bed is going to be even cozier now!" He squealed, jogging on the spot in his happiness.

Zander couldn't help but smile as he watched Luke's delight. He loved how these simple toys brought so much happiness to his husband's life. It was the best feelings, where they found joy in the simplest of things.

As they made their way to the cashier, Zander leaned in close to Luke and whispered, "You know, my love, our bed might be running out of space soon. But I wouldn't trade our growing collection for anything. These stuffed animals are a symbol of our love and the memories we create together."

Luke grinned mischievously. "Well, I guess we'll just have to find a way to make more room. Maybe some shelves would be better... After all, who can resist these adorable faces?"

With a shared laugh, they completed their purchase and left the store, their arms laden with stuffed animals. Each plush friend held a special place in their hearts, symbolizing their unwavering love and the joy they found in each other's company.

That night, as they climbed into bed, surrounded by their ever-expanding family of stuffed animals, Zander and Luke cuddled close, Fluffy now buried under their collection filling the bed. The stuffed animals acted as gentle reminders of the adventures they had shared and the ones yet to come.
