After a while of pulling the ten unconscious participants of the operation, I found Nobi guiding Lethargy down the path to me.
Wait a minute. My bike! How could I forget?
I dashed back, hurrying to get it. Where was it? It was somewhere near the bushes. Some moments later, I got my bike back.
Lethargy was baffled, glancing at the amount of unconscious knights that I was dragging. There was also the Head Baker. He warily inquired,"What even happened? And is that the Knight of Kites?" Lethargy's eyes then steadily looked to my current injuries.
I had some grazes and a puncture wound.
"Well I ended up running into Relle and the others. It turns out that they were assigned to take down the society completely," I explained whilst Lethargy got to cleaning my wounds and bandaging them up more properly. "I hoped to spy on them and find their motives, but then Nobi was caught in their sights. With that, a whole entire fight begun and ended." Floating, Nobi flipped itself in quiet joy and spinning happily.
I guess Cenobia had a great time?
He distinctly stated,"Don't do anything too straining. I'll take care of the rest. Wait here." Lethargy took Relle's arm and then teleportated away.
It was a back-and-forth show where Lethargy kept on teleporting the unconscious people. I placed my bike, leaning on a tree and began cleaning it of any dirt that may stained it. This was something that I needed to do whilst Lethargy did the strenuous transportation.
When Lethargy was finished doing all that, I casually patted him on the shoulder. Nobi rolled about childishly on the grass freely in sheer happiness. Its ignorance is enviable.
"Thank you very much," I thanked, meeting his unusual eyes with my green eyes. "What should we exactly do now? Wait or..?"
"First of all, you should detransform," Lethargy advised, staring at me blankly.
I sighed, crossed my arms and dashed to the closest tree in my vicinity. After bashing myself into it, I recoiled in my ordinary appearance. My eyes brown yet again. I fumbled around my pockets looking for my glasses. My eyesight was back to being awful after detransforming.
My bandages somehow miraculously stayed.
Lethargy handed me a bottle of water. I opened it and I took a sip of it. The bottle water tasted very familiar. Thank goodness.
The same taste of absolute water.
Nothing. It's nice that nothing changes about water. The taste of weird lukewarm water.
"Anyways we can head back now, right?" I mentioned in a hesitant tone and with a unsure expression, my hands moving to rest on my bike's handles. "I don't want to be out in the sunlight too long. The sun is awful."
Impulsively, I got on my bicycle and went to cycling down slowly as Lethargy walked by. He sighed and questioned with his brow raised,"You couldn't wait for my answer for a second longer? How impatient could you be?"
The serene ride down was nicely peaceful.
"Very. Besides, I wasn't sure how you'd reply and didn't want to wait," I truthfully voiced. "Waiting is something I only do, when I'm not anxious to be actively going some place."
"Alright? Though, how are you feeling?" he asked with real concern coated in his tone. "No lasting pain or weird injuries?"
Thoughtfully, I stared up ahead, riding my bike forward. Nobi dived forth and sank itself into my bicycle's small basket. It then rested snugly, napping like nothing had even happened. "At most, I feel lasting pain of having a mace chucked into my stomach," I answered, seeing the grey pavements.
"How bad?"
"Nothing too bad I believe? Probably just a bunch of grazes and blunt pain. I can shrug it off," I replied easily. "I've had stomach pains much worse than this type of pain."
Then we arrived, onto the pavements.
Lethargy paused in his steps and brought up,"There's unusual happenings going on. It's odd that Epistle's been in a more agreeable mood, isn't it? I must get to visiting her again." With that, he teleported off. To where? Well I should assume to Epistle's cell. However I do wonder what is transpiring there. Maybe I should visit as well to see what the fuss may be about.
