All tasks have been completed; the only remaining task is to set up the chairs and tables. Afterward, individuals will arrive with a large cake and fairy lights.
The party will start in 1 hour, so I have time to relax and touch up my make-up.
"Jay!!" I called out.
"Yes?"
I wanted to know if Jay heard anything from the doctors about the results. "Baby, come here."
Jay ran upstairs and walked into the bedroom. "What's up?"
"Have you heard anything?"
Jay looked at his phone. "Nope not yet." His phone started ringing and he immediately left the room to answer it. I thought it was odd but I didn't wanna overthink.

My phone started ringing when Bey was talking to me, it was my brother.
"Hey bro, I got the ring."
My intention is to ask Beyoncé to marry me. Her mother will be in charge of turning the little smoke machine on and her best friends will release the bubbles from the bubble gun. I will be positioned behind Beyoncé, with my hand on her waist. As soon as they begin the countdown, I will drop down on one knee and ask the big question.
"Okay, I left my car door unlocked. Put in the glove compartment."
"Ight."
My mom's and my siblings are the only people that know I'm proposing.
As I was walking back upstairs into the room, I received a text message from my doctor. Before I checked it, I let out a prayer.
God, I know I don't come to you at all. And I know I need to do better. I'm here right now asking you, To please let everything be okay. I wanna be healed for good. I wanna live my entire life. I wanna be a great father. If Beyoncé says 'yes', I wanna be the best husband ever. Amen. ___________________

After I finished fixing up my makeup, I heard Jay walking back upstairs. When he walked into the room he sat on the bed, and he looked at me for awhile.
"Come sit beside me." Jay said while motioning me over to him. I sat beside him and he showed me his phone.
