Frozen Poppies

Chapter 19

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?" A yell was heard across the room, as The Lost Empire's emperor stood up in his seat. "YOUR SON COULD OF MURDERED MINE!" "Yes, that is correct." "YOUR SON IS A PATENTIOAL MURDER"  A short silence followed as both male rested their voices after shouting at each other. "If you don't mind," a sweet female voice asked" NOT yelling at each other, that's not the ONLY purpose of this meeting." 

This female was the emperor of ,what was known as, The Overgrown. Her name was Abelia. Just like her daughter, she had a overly kind heart, her night black hair swung behind her as she made her way back to the chair where she was sat. She had a soft lilac dress on, white flower designs dotted along the dress' rims, she had matching purple heels that clacked along the hard, stone floor.

"Ok so now that you too are finshed with shouting at each other. Lets get on with the other part of the meeting." "Abelia, are you sure its time to bring them in?" A different feminine voice questioned " Yes Belladonna. I am sure"

Belladonna was a short woman just like her kind, gnomes, her sweet golden eyes shimmering in the dull light. She wore a pale red dress which was littered of small white dots. She also adorned a belladonna flower in her sweet black and brown faded hair, that had been swiftly swept behind her ear.

"Only if your sure about this." Abeia looked around the hall and nodded, "Let them in." Belladonna and Caz, joey's father, made their ways too the door of the hall, the sound of shoes clacking on the stone floor followed them to the doors as they pushed them open.

"Okay. It's time."

Ok so kinda a short chapter but I think I have some explaining to do with some of the names. So let me explain their meanings:

Abelia- The name meaning is breath or vapour. Which also means calm or calming and due to how the overgrown doesn't like war or battles i thought it was fitting

Belladonna-  Even though its name translates to "beautiful lady," belladonna is a poisonous flower that is also known as nightshade. It worked in my head because of in Shubble's lore, her people where corrupted or 'poisoned' after consuming the  infected mushrooms in the nether.

Caz- Caz means 'famous destroyer (of peace)'. And the lost empire isn't exactly known for peace, in fact it broke a lot of the peace when it aligned itself with Xornoth.

So yeah, hope that explained just a bit. Byee
