Chapter 34

3 years later

I'm finally back in Australia, I went to meet Cole and Nicholas in New York. Surprisingly we're still friends. I did not expect us to be friends. Well god has mysterious ways of working.

Nicholas and Alessandra married two years ago, and I hate to say this, she's not that much of a bitch I thought she was.

Sophie and Chris are together, what happened with Marcus was a big misunderstanding, Marcus was at fault. Chris understood and gave Sophie a cold shoulder for three months straight. It was funny seeing Sophie roam all around Chris all day and not giving up, Chris had to give up in the end.

Jack and Natalie and engaged, I predicted them together, haha, I'm a great matchmaker. They are adorable together.

Levi is with Callie. Yes Tristan's sister. They are dating and taking it slow, Callie often visits at our place and she keeps on reminding of Tristan. I have no idea where he went, he went without saying a goodbye. And never showed his face again. It hurts till date. I tried to move on, I really did but I couldn't. I asked Callie about his whereabouts too but apparently he had told her not to tell me. I hate him, so much. More than him I hate myself, why do I still like that piece of shit?

That very moment I received a call, "Hey my love." The person said

"What do you want?" I replied.

"I'm hurt, you would talk to me this way."

"Speak up Andrew, I don't have all day." I snapped.

"Aw, baby that's rude."

"Andrew fucking Astor, talk this instant or I'm hanging up."

"Alright, alright so basically, technically, practically, unknowingly, unintentionally-"

"Andrew!"

"Fine, I kind of fucked up." He stated with a deep sigh.

"What did you do now?"

"Let's meet at our place within an hour? Please, before you say no, I'll repeat please. Please. Please." He rambled.

I swear he's so nonsense.

"Fine, will be there." I replied.

"Thank you Mi lady, thank you so-" and I hung up.

I don't have time for his unpractical talks, I've much more to worry about, it's my crowning in a month, I'll be new incharge and head of my family. Isn't that enthusiastic? Yayay

Like I never asked to be born first, I never wanted so many duties give them to Levi, rather Nicholas. Stupid Nicholas had to be born outside the royalty. Well I guess if he had been living with me since childhood, it would've been tough, honestly social media has taught me life as a middle sibling sucks, again it isn't better being the elder sibling out of the two as well. So anyways.

Oh and about Carter, stupid Cole told Nicholas and Levi and our cousins too, well parents don't know, but he didn't had to tell the rest of them, so eventually even Alessandra knows. They did find that creature and let's say, he's not really alive. I mean... it's okay? Also let me tell you, it sucks being the only sister out of 3 blood siblings, half or not. Let me mention in bold 'IT SUCKS.'

Honestly, I would've broken ties with Nicholas, I'm only playing sister brother with that idiot because of Elodie, she's such a sweetheart, my beautiful niece. Well to be fair I don't know if I could've broken ties with Nicholas, though he's an overprotective asshat, but he's been there for me through and through and I love him for that.

Anyways, it's now time to visit Andrew. He's my friend, best friend. We met a year ago on my way back to Melbourne from New York. He's a lawyer, may I say a famous one, you know the 'rich people lawyer.' I wore a blue floral dress reaching my mid thighs and paired it with my basic air forces. Well time to head out.

I was late by five minutes. And I saw Andrew drinking water on sitting alone on the table. I walked upto him and sat right in front of him.

"Oh, good you're here i thought I'll get stood up." He replied.

"Shut up Andrew, we're not dating." I replied and he pouted.

"Babe, now you're hurting me, don't call me Andrew, girlfriends are usually supposed to keep a nickname, like Drew, Andre or anything like that." He said and took a sip of water form his glass, I wish I could throw that on his face.

"Andrew get to the fucking point." I snapped, I usually have to snap at him. I hate that guy, I swear. But since he's my friend I have to tolerate him.

"I kind of slept with one of Colton Royale's sister, when I was in New York and now well she's kind of pregnant and now her family demands my presence there." He said and I choked on air.

"Are you out of your goddamn mind, Andrew? Trust me, I know Cole, he's extremely protective of his sisters and moreover it is the head royal family." I told him and he looked down at the table opening his mouth to say something but words didn't come out, then he finally said, "That's not even the biggest problem, she's the engaged one." so its Bertha. 

"Andrew!" I exclaimed, "Have you lost your mind? Why would you spend the night with someone who is engaged?" 

"El, it was a masquerade part and I was drunk, in the morning we decided that something like this never happened and we'll forget this, but then... you know." he said looking guilty and scared. I sighed deeply.

"Drew, what are we going to do? You fucked up really bad." I said lowly, he needs to go there either ways or they'll drag him till there, there is no choice.

"Talk to Colton, please." he almost begged me, and if I were to talk to Colton then I would have to  face his rage too, knowing how he can be. And just when we were numb and thinking about a solution, my phone started ringing and it was Cole. I looked at Andrew and showed him the phone, his eyes widened and he shook his head, telling me not to answer, but I know I had to or he'll get worried and come here from New York just to ask me if I'm fine. I'm not assuming this, I'm stating so because it happened once. 

"Hello." I answered the call, connecting my airpods and handing one to Andrew. 

"Hey, El, I need to talk to you, it's kind of important."

"Okay, talk then." I said. 

"I need a favour."
