Elyse POV

"You're meeting Tristan tomorrow?" Levi asked looking at me dead in the eye. I sighed, this is going to be tough to explain him everything and i'm concerned that he won't understand and would get more upset than he already is.

"Yes, Levi but-" he cut me off by pushing the candle stand which was on the cabinet then said, " No, Elyse, No. You can't meet him. He's the reason you did not sleep with dry eyes for 4 fucking years and for 4 years I was in guilt that how could I cause my sister that much pain? Cause Cassie was here every other day and she would remind you of him. The girl that was once so happy isn't the same anymore El. I miss the old you." he said and i could see tears flowing down his eyes.

I went towards him and hugged him and he started to cry even more. I led him to the couch and he lied on my lap, crying and crying.

"Levi, I want you to talk to Cassie tomorrow and tell her that what you did today was a mistake and you got a bit overwhelmed and never meant to break up with her." I told him while gently caressing his hair.

"I broke with her for a reason El." he said in a whisper.

"I know and it was stupid. If Tristan and I are no more together that does not mean you and Cassie won't be together. You could not find anyone better than Cassie for you and neither can she for herself and I'm going to meet Tristan tomorrow just to talk and I don't think him and I we'll be getting together anytime soon unless he grovels his shit to me." I said with a chuckle.

"You're right sometimes El." he said and looked at me with a smile and i kissed his forehead. "Go to sleep Lexi, you need rest."

"Can I sleep like this please? I love you big sister." he said with a cheeky smile and let out a laugh. "Only this once little kid on other days i'll throw you and I love you too." I told him so.

"You're the best," he mumbled and got comfortable with his head on my lap. "I know." I answered but he was already asleep.

Growing up Levi has always been my brother but since this royalty shit started and our parents became assholes, I felt like his mother. He'd always come to me with his problems and confide in me. Since mother dearest couldn't live upto her role I had to do it for him. It's not that I mind it, It's nothing like that but it's like, I don't have anyone for myself to confide in. I don't want to burden Levi with my luggage, he's enjoying life. I shall let him.

Earlier I used to talk with Nicholas and Tristan but now, Nicholas has a family of his own and more responsibilities than ever, I can't stress him anymore and as for Tristan, no one has ever disappointed me the way he has.

I got ready to meet Tristan today, yesterday night Nick and his family were out for the night so yeah he kind of does not know that I'll be meeting Tristan today and let's hope this remains the same.

I wore a black pullover sweater and bell bottoms to go with it with my Nike air forces, I'll just keep it simple and casual. I went downstairs and the ball just went out of my court everyone was present there, Alessandra, Nick and even Elodie and of course Levi. I just thought that I could quietly move away but my favourite person betrayed me.

"Elieeeeee" Elodie yelled and everyone turned towards me.

"Where you off to?" Nick asked and Levi smirked while biting on his stupid apple.

"Out, will be back in a few, ok bye." I said and Nick got up and came in front of me and folded his arms and glared at me and I glared back.

"Elyse, I asked you something." He said.
