CHAPTER XIX

STUART’S POV

Now everything seems to be perfectly fine . Now my dad will get the justice that we all were waiting eagerly . Now he will be released from the false allegations which made him waste his 8 years of his life for the crime that he never committed .

At first it was hard to tell Pearl about my exact feelings that I was holding deep in my heart but when I told her about my feelings I was sort of relieved . I was feeling some sort of weightless on my heart , the load that was there in my heart has somewhat decreased . After telling all those feelings to her , I thought she will be infuriated on me , but that was not the case , instead she was happy . I was confused about that .

I didn’t knew that Pearl was also holding the same kind of feelings for me deep in her heart ! She still loves me !

I thought that the love between us was already faded with distance and time , but that was not in this case . What people says ‘ true love remains forever even if there is lot of obstructions in between ‘ is indeed true .

We knew that our relationship is totally a messed up right now and only time and friendship can mend our relationship so we have decided to give our relationship a fresh start or rather a second chance and to begin it , we decided to start it with friendship .

I didn’t like the idea of friendship , but it was needed so that our relationship can turn out  to be healthy .

Pearl decided to be the evidence which can save my dad was a big relief for me . But her condition is also critical as she has to go against her family . But she insisted that she will go against them as they considers her as dead and all the bonding has ended and so she considers there is no connections left with them . When she don’t have any problem then why should I ?

After everything was sorted out between us , I stayed with them for that night . When I went to see Liam , he was already sleeping in bed , so I didn’t disturbed him . I went outside so see Pearl and found that she was not there on the drawing room . I checked her and found that she was on the kitchen and may be cleaning the dishes .

I went silently towards the kitchen and found that her jolly nature has returned may be because everything is sorted out .  I went silently towards her . I stood behind her and   I think  she didn’t noticed me , so I wrapped my hands from behind around her waist  and rested my chin on her shoulder . But she didn’t flinched , she may be expecting me .

“ You were expecting me right “ I whispered in her ears . “ Yah , I knew you would come here to see me “ she replied . “ Is that so ? “ I asked . “ Yah “ she replied and blushed .

“ Are you missing me already ? “ I asked with a smirk . “ It’s nothing like that , I know you “ she replied and sensed that the situation was becoming too romantic so she just elbowed me on my stomach and I moved back .

“ That’s rude “ I blurted out with a fake acting of pain . “ You deserves it “ she replied and got busied with the work . “ Have you ordered the food “ I asked in order to change the topic . “ Yah , it will be coming soon . What about Liam ? “ she asked . “ He was sleeping peacefully so I decided not to disturb his precious sleep and moreover because of his sleep I can get some time to spend with his mother “ I spoke with a smirk .

“ You are impossible , you are always romantic as usual “ she replied with a blush . “ I don’t know why , but my romantic nature works best when I am with you “ I replied with a laugh .
