STUART'S POV

The hearing for our case started after 8 years . After the proceedings done by the honourable court , our lawyer Mr Adam requested the judge to allow our first evidence . The judge allowed and Mr Adam requested Pearl to come and be the first evidence .

When Pearl's name got echoed in the room , no one in the room especially the Mitchell's camp believe that Pearl still exists . I can sense Daryl Mitchell face turned into a deadpan and his lawyer faced turned into a shock . But I can see Mrs Mitchell's face has some sort of happiness , it might be because she is seeing her daughter after a long time .

Pearl went towards the dias and took her position .

" My Lord , if you allow , I will start the proceedings " Mr Adam asked . " You may proceed " the judge ordered . " Thank you my Lord " Mr Adam thanked and went towards Pearl .

" So Miss Pearl Mitchell can you tell us a brief background about yourself ? Why you decided to go against your own family ? " Mr Adam asked . Pearl touched the bible and took the oath of her truth telling .

" My Lord , I am Pearl Mitchell or more precisely just Pearl , I hate the last name of mine . My Lord , I am or rather I was the daughter of Daryl Mitchell until he disowned me . I used to live in other state of the country may be my father wanted to hide me from the world . After many years all of a sudden , I got call from my father , he told me to comeback to my own house . I was happy as my long dream was finally fulfilled . I returned happily but never knew that what he was plotting . After I returned , he told me about his filthy plan and how he requires my help to destroy a certain someone . At first I refused but later agreed as I believe helping him will bring close to him . But I didn't succeeded in making his plan a success " Pearl spoke and took a long breath .

" Miss Pearl , can you tell us what that filthy plan that you are referring ? " Mr Adam asked . " Yes , I can " Pearl replied .

She narrated the plan that her father has told her to follow . She even narrated the mess that her father has created and to save himself from it , he is using his own daughter in it . Reopening the old wounds are not easy , I can see that , Pearl was facing an immense pain , there were tears on her eyes when she was elaborating the story .

" You can see my Lord , Daryl Mitchell can go so low that he even used his own daughter to succeed his plan . The truth is in front of you , you can decide what will be the final decision " Mr Adam spoke .

" Not too fast prosecutor . My Lord , I want to ask some questions to Miss Pearl , if you allow " Mr Kemp asked . " Allowed " the judge spoke . " Thank you my Lord " Kemp spoke and went towards Pearl .

" So Miss Pearl Mitchell or rather Pearl , why will we believe that you are Daryl Mitchell's daughter ? " Kemp asked . " If you don't believe then I suggests please do a DNA test , I think you will trust the results " Pearl shot back and a little laughter erupted in the court room .

" Order , Order . Maintain silence " the judge ordered .

" Can you enlighten us why your father called you back ? " Kemp asked . " My father called me back so that I can destroy a certain someone " Pearl replied . " Who is that certain someone ? " Kemp asked . " Stuart McAndrew ! " Pearl replied .
