As Shi and Kai walked further into Snowdin, they walked past the Inn, and Grillby's, walking past some monsters that were hanging around a decorated tree. they would stop in front of a building with a sign reading 'Librarby', Kai: "they're all idiots here", Shi: "be nice, Kai!", they said irritated at the spirit. Kai: "but look they can't even spell library right!", Shi: "you can't call them idiots because of one spelling mistake". Kai: "you can't tell me what i can't do, moron", Shi: "who hurt you?", they said irritated more than before.
they walked past the library, and they would stop in front of the two-story house right next to the library. Sans and Papyrus were walking to the two-story house, Sans: "Shi". Kai: "great it's those two boneheads from earlier", Shi: "Kai, I swear to everything that is holy, if you don't shut up; I will make you shut up", they said as they were ticked off towards the spirit. Shi would look at the two skeletons, and they crossed their arms, as they tilted their head, Shi: "what is it?". Sans: "why are you still talking to yourself...?", Shi tilted their head and looked at Sans confused, Shi: "I'm not....". Shi looked away from them both, Shi: "I'm gonna go...", then they started walked further into Snowdin, as Kai floated beside them. Sans and Papyrus just looked at Shi and Kai confused, then Sans and Papyrus walked into their house.
after a bit of walking, they reached the end of the path through Snowdin to face a tall skeleton who approached. Kai: "great one of the boneheads again", Shi: "Kai I swear one of these days, I'm going to make you shut up if you don't shut up on your own", they said frustrated towards the spirit. Papyrus: "there's something odd about you human", he said confused, Shi: "I'm not human... or completely a human", they said as they were irritated. Papyrus: "you're still a human, I must capture you", he said with an excited tone, Kai: "moron". Shi looked at the spirit, then at Papyrus, confused. Shi: "do you not understand what I-", 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, Shi's soul appeared out of their chest. Kai: "fight him you idiot", Shi grabbed out their dagger and looked at the spirit. Shi: "I really don't want to fight though...", Kai: "too bad, fight!". 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, Kai disappeared, and Shi's eyes became pink, and their eye whites became black. Shi looked at Papyrus with a smile, Shi: "come at my bonehead", Papyrus summoned a few bones towards Shi, Shi would jump on one and jumped over the other bones. Shi swung the dagger at Papyrus and cut his arm. Papyrus: "now let's see if you can handle my fabled 'blue attack'", Papyrus snapped his fingers. 𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, Shi's soul turned blue, and they looked at Papyrus, confused, Shi: "what the...?".
Papyrus: "you're blue now; that's my attack", he said sounding proud of himself. Shi looked at the skeleton confused. Papyrus: "NYEH HEH HEH HEH", Shi: "what the...?". a few bones appear out of the ground and towards Shi, Shi jumped over the bones and swung the dagger at Papyrus. Papyrus took the dagger to the arm again, and a few more bones went towards Shi. Shi took a deep breath and blew fire at the bones to disintegrate them. Shi: 𝘪 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘪 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘥𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵.... 𝘤𝘰𝘰𝘭. Shi would lunge at Papyrus, swinging the dagger at him, hitting Papyrus in the arm as he had moved out of the way. Papyrus held his arm, and a few more bones were summoned towards Shi. Shi swung their dagger at the bones, to knock them away, then they swung their dagger at Papyrus again, hitting across his chest. Papyrus glowed a bit, then he turned to dust, leaving behind his scarf that fell onto the snowy ground.
𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠, Shi's soul returned back into their chest, and Shi's eyes turned back to blue and white, as they looked down at the scarf, Kai appeared beside their head as they were no longer in control. Shi: "why did you do that?!", they looked at the spirit, upset with what they caused. Kai: "you can't blame me, it was fun", the spirit laughed. Shi: "how sick are you?!", they asked disgusted with what Kai did, Kai: "you can't say anything; you didn't stop me". Shi: "hey.... what was with the fire thing though?", they asked curiously, Kai: "that's the type of magic you possess, did you seriously not know that?". Shi: "oh.... I guess that makes sense....", they would walk away from the scarf, and they walked towards the sound of running water. Kai: "you're not going to take your prize for winning that battle?", Shi: "no it's not right, and anyways you killed him; I didn't". the sound of running water got louder as they would continue walking.
