Keeping a secret was not an easy thing, Morgan was discreet, it was one of his characteristics, but so was annoying Spencer.

- Three can keep a secret, if two of them are dead.— Hotch says.

Hotch looks at Prentiss and she looks at Maeve. The looks are repeated again, but in a different order: Maeve looks at Spencer and Spencer looks at Morgan.

- Benjamin Franklin. — Spencer says the name of the author Hotch was quoting.

Hotch reports how things would go back to ''normal'' since he wouldn't be leaving after all, neither would Prentiss. All that was needed was Gideon to get the team back together. But would Gideon return? Spencer had delivered the letter to the team. The two previous nights he didn't even have time to mention it to Maeve so it was a surprise for her too.

- Could it be a suicide one? —Maeve asks, hoping the answer is no.

- I don't believe it . — Says Hotchner.— Most suicide letters are usually a farewell justifying their actions, sometimes begging for forgiveness from close people. This is different. Gideon had his own secrets and no one knows them, because if so they would have already come to light.

- How are you sure about that? — Maeve asks one more time. She's worried.

- Only one person can keep a secret. Without exception.

- But we all come to trust someone at some point. —The entire team looks at Spencer knowing that he was the closest to Gideon.

- What I know is that I've known Gideon for quite a few years, and he'd never done this. But, even you Maeve, You have secrets that we don't know. — Morgan said this time.

- People win secrets — Spencer turns to his girlfriend to pay attention to her.— The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.

- Ernest Hemingway. — Spencer answers again, recognizing the phrase. This being the only thing he contributes, he has barely managed to speak all day.

- Are we still talking about Gideon? — JJ asks. —What will happen to him? Will we just wait for him to return?

- The only thing we have to find it is the letter. -—Hotch says.

- Sometimes people don't want to be found. — Maeve said to herself but the rest of them managed to hear her.

- What about his cell phone? — Prentiss asks. — We can track him.

- He has a disposable phone in the smartphone era. —  García answers.— I've already tried. I can go into the database and get things like his name or address, things we already know, but not find his whereabouts.

- How can we be sure that someone didn't force him to write that letter? — It's Maeve who asks this time.

- The handwriting is firm. Words premeditated before being written on paper, there was a sure decision, Words that Gideon himself used, there is no word that is unknown in this, They are not someone else's words. There is no indication that he was writing under pressure. Nor does the mackerel look as if there was anyone else with him at the time.

- And only Spencer knew that place. - Hotch finishes Morgan's words.

The team dissolves when they see that they were only acting like dogs sniffing their tails and getting nowhere, for the moment there was no way to find Gideon.

- Hey. — Prentiss grabs Spencer's shoulder before he could leave. — How are you? —She doesn't let him answer because another question appears in the conversation. — Regarding Gideon, I mean, do you want to talk about that?
