Maeve couldn't fall asleep that night. Could it be the absence of Spencer? Impossible, Something else was tormenting her at that moment. She shifts uncomfortably in her bed, trying to find the right place to sleep but everything seemed to bother her, she thought about calling Penelope and talking for a while, at least until she fell asleep but it didn't seem like a good idea.

Still wearing her pajamas, Maeve puts on some flat boots, she usually wears them to be at home since the soles were not designed for going outside, but she had intentions of going out, her feet on the other hand, well, she just wanted to feel comfortable even if it damages her footwear.

She walked not far from her neighborhood, taking a couple of turns, she saw a lady walking her dog, a girl holding hands with her father, normal things. Maeve was begging to go for a walk and maybe see a familiar face, to not feel so alone. Did she really want to give Spencer space or did she want the space? She has thought about Gideon as much as anyone else in the bureau she did; But it didn't seem right to Maeve to say that she missed the man, even if it were true. The others have known him for years and she has only known him for a few months, but despite that it doesn't make Maeve miss him any less.

But the others seemed to have forgotten so she must do it.

Knowing that she wouldn't see him would have hugged him a little tighter. Gideon always had phrases saved for the most opportune moments, Maeve remembers him telling her that she should keep some things to herself and not tell Hotch, but it makes her think about whether he was really saying that to her or was it something for  himself.

Definitely if Maeve had known that was their last conversation she would talk to him a little more and probably less about her and more about him.

Maeve yawns, It's hard to be sleepy but not be able to sleep. She curses that she didn't come out with money, or she could have bought a coffee, she walks into the nearest coffee shop anyway, and took a seat, the place was empty.

It was a matter of minutes when the guy at the bar approached and offered him a coffee. Maeve furrows her eyebrows in confusion.

— I. . .I did not order anything.

— It is complimentary. — The man answers.

Maeve looks down at her own clothes. She was wearing the same pajamas she wore when she went to see Spencer at the hospital.  I look like a homeless person? She asks herself, Is this the only reason anyone would even give her free food.

The girl takes advantage of the coffee. She wasn't going to reject it. It would help her stay awake. The man returns to Maeve's table, She gives him a smile in thanks.

The door bell makes a noise as someone else enters. He turns around seeing a man enter and heads towards the bar to serve him.

The next day Maeve had things to practice, it was ironic that she still had things to learn. They had agreed that she would learn most of them with Morgan, since he was a good instructor and they have already seen that Maeve learns faster with him. They've even trained together a couple of times.

Maeve hates running but Morgan insists that she do so if she doesn't want to look like Reid when he runs with his gun in hand. Other times Emily joins them. It is something that Emily and Morgan do together sometimes, Maeve did not share the same interest but she knew that she had to stay in shape and develop new physical resistance, and thanks to Morgan she has achieved it.

Maeve had forgotten that she even had practice. She hasn't been able to sleep and she doesn't look the best that day.

— That's for you, Pretty girl.
