Mevrik was still bathing after the little "accident", but the others entered the dining room. They were all exhausted and hungry after the journey. The room was massive (not as massive as Vazdur's co[REDACTED TEXT, PLEASE AUTHORIZE]), beautifully crafted pillars reaching high up onto the ceiling, and the blueish colors around blinding the visitors into an awe, like in a giant ice cave that got uncovered. Vazdur, the giant slowly marched to the table, and sat down. He gestured the others towards a much smaller table next to his. They felt like kids at the family gathering, but eventually sat down, and started eating.
The food was exceptionally good, altough simply by the fact that they were hungry, or that the ice golems are excellent cooks; no one knows.

Mevrik finally finished cleaning himself, wrapped a towel around his body (paying close attention to hide his wings), and gaypowerwalked towards the dining room. By the time he got there, the Racist Kinderdargeners nearly finished eating. He sat down, in only but a towel still, and started eating as well.

At one point, Mevrik remembered the magic cube that Zachary wanted to sell him, but didn't tell him what it really was. He had the idea of asking the owner of the castle. He seemed mighty and wise enough.
- Vazdur, can I have a question?
- Anything, you may. - answered the giant in a deep, roaring voice.
- So, Zachary found a magic cube, can you help us identify it?
- I will see what I can do, just show it to me.
- Okay, Zach, show it! - said Mevrik, and turned his eyes towards Zachary. He just finished eating, but seemed a bit nervous.
- No point. I know what it does.
- Then tell us, you moron! - replied Mevrik, and tossed a ZSÖMLE at his companion. Zachary dodged it easily.
- You're gonna have to try hard... - but he couldn't finish the sentence, for a handful of mashed potatoes hit him in the head. This action caused two things:
1. Mevrik started laughing.
2. Zachary accidentally poured some of his wine into his plate.
The ranger cleared his eyes, but his vision stambled upon the plate.
To an ordinary person, it was just a pile of chicken bones swimming in a tiny pool of red wine.
To him, it was a reminder to something, haunting his memory ever since...

Mevrik stopped laughing. He thought he was just gonna get a smirk from Zachary, and can continue to persuade him afterwards, but no. It did not happen. In fact, Zachary sat still. Awfully still.
- Zachary, you good? - asked Mevrik. But no answer came. He paid a bit closer attention;
The ranger was grabbing the side of the table like his life was depending on it. Mevrik couldn't see his other hand, but judging by the small movements of his shoulders, it was shaking. All life has left Zachary's eyes. Only fear and blankness remained. Even Jeremy was scared, making quiet calls for help. Mevrik got a bit shocked, but tried to act:
- Hey, it's okay, just calm down, look! - said, as he made an illusion of a dancing cricket. It was of little effect, but he could see some glimmer of life returning to the ranger's eyes. He could finally gather enough strenght to look around. He was clearly searching for something, but Mevrik couldn't tell, what. By this time, the others were aware of the situation as well.
Sitting on Zachary's left, Thia was a bit shellshocked, and did not react.
Sitting on the ranger's right side, Scarlett wanted to make a slight turn, to address the situation a bit more.

But as she tried to do that, Zachary suddenly lowered his head onto her shoulders, in a way that his vision was fully covered. She got surprised, but tried to calm her companion as best she could, placing her hand on his head, and speaking to him in a soft, quiet voice.
It slowly, but worked. Zachary got more and more easy, his breathing started to slow down.
It worked.

Mevrik watched the scene with a bit of jealousy, though. But he chased these thoughts away.
"I mean, he is clealy NOT well, and just wanted to cover his vision, that's all. Even Gaylord could sit there, the same would've happened, right?
...
...right?"
