Having defeated the evil yeti-necromancer, and nearly dying to some stones with mouths, the Racist Kindergardeners, along with their guide, the Rat King himself, a goblin named 'Szurka', and his girlfriend, Jenna, continued their voyage towards the capital, still in the dark caves.
Szurke were at the front with Jenna, guiding the team, which was moving in an unorganized way. Except Scarlett and Sevrik, right behind Szurka and Jenna.
Zachary was quietly walking towards wherever the goblin was going, trying not to pay much attention to Gaylord and Mevik arguing. He even started to move a bit faster, to a degree that he catched up to Sevrik and

in just a few seconds. His mind was already clear of the necromancing yeti (mostly because he gave it the deadly shot), and in a true edgelord character fashion, he asked Scarlett the following (még mindig szórakoztató számomra a tény, hogy végig csak ezt a pár mondatot terveztem, és 10 percig kerestünk zenét hozzá):
- Scarlett, what you said back in the room, that I have friends now...
- Yes?
- You really meant it?
- Well, yeah, why wouldn't I mean it? - Zachary let out a small, but noticeable smile, and slowed down. From his point of view, this was the end of the conversation.
Scarlett had no idea what the fuck happened. She looked back for a second, but as soon as she realized that "yes, he really wanted only this", she turned her head to face forward, and let this conversation slide as Zachary being weird again, this time without the usual strangely adorable bit.
Zachary, as soon as he was farther away from Scarlett, quietly chanted a spell, and turned towards Jeremy:
- She said I have friends now. - and smiled.
- Friends! - replied Jeremy, and lifted up a small, silver coin with his left leg. Zachary had no idea how he managed to get this, but this raven found walnuts in a pine forest, so he decided not to question it. Jeremy continued his heartfelt monologue:
- Give to friend? - and shaked the coin.
- Why not give it yourself? - Jeremy hesitated not a moment. He flew over to Scarlett, and landed on her shoulder.
- Kaaaa! - "said" Jeremy, and Scarlett could notice he was swinging around something shiny in his leg. She hold out her hand, and a single silver coin dropped onto it. She got surprised for a second, but quickly realized what was going on. She put the coin in her coat's inner pocket.
- Thank you, Jeremy! - said Scarlet, as she scratched the raven's beak. After that, Jeremy let out another "KAAAA", and flew back to Zachary.
- Friend happy! - said Jeremy to his companion, and did a little victory dance. Zachary also scratched his beak.
"Good day."

The dance was interrupted by the sudden appearance of the almighty tent-engineer, Gaylord:
- Why are you harrassing Scarlett?
- What?
- You always talk to her, but not to me, for example. - said Gaylord, and crossed his hands, signing Zachary that he demands answers. The ranger looked kinda confused at first, but eventually opened his mouth to reply:
- I did not, in fact, harrass her, but like, do you want me to talk to you more, or something? - Gaylord froze for a split second. "Is he assuming he needs to ask this question? Really? Who doesn't want to talk to me?" - said to himself. And he deemed his own words rightful; he always has something interesting or/and funny to say. Or something really wise. He is wise. Very wise. Everyone in this group should be grateful that he graces them with his presence. So in order to scold Zachary, he said the following:
- ...yes.
- Well... okay then. We... we will, eventually. - thus, the two of them continued their journey silently.

Meanwhile. Mevrik ran up to Scarlett:
- Hey there, princesa, I...
- Mevrik, you sure these nicknames are neccessary?
- Absolutely, now, where was I? Yeah, I wanted to ask what are your plans after we deliver Mr. Kingsman here, AND after you fixed the hospital, and everything else you wanted.
- Well, I... - she wasn't really sure. Certainly, right now, Sevrik was the main goal, and then the hospital, but after that, all darkness. - ...I think I will stay there for a time, maybe. I'm a nurse, after all, but it's kind of open ended...
- Dunno, you seem like the type to live somewhere quiet after this, still doing the doctor-thingie and all, but yeah, you know, going into a forest or something. - Scarlett started to think about it, unaware of what direction Mevrik was headed with this conversation.
- Well, it would be interesting for sure.
- While we are at the interesting part, I know a certain person with some forest-affiliation who is certainly interested in something... - replied Mevrik, as he carefully looked back towards Zachary. The ranger was not looking at them, but surely heard everything. "Sparkling a little shit like this won't hurt them much, but is entertaining as hell."
- Wait, wha... who are you talking about?
- I think you know already. I could say, this person got hit by Cupid's BOW...
- Oh... OH, well, I... - said Scarlett, as she turned to face forward. She blushed a bit, but this revelation(, if Mevrik was telling the truth, which she doubted heavily) struck her with surprise, rather than "ohmygodsomeonelikesmeomgomgisuchdontknowwhattodonowomgiblushuwu". Zachary surely is a troubled individual, not great at expressing feelings, but she would've already noticed if this was the case, would she? He is kind, and caring, however, fights with enthusiasm, and he has taken care of Jeremy for like, 16 years now. Guy's certainly hard to get to speak, but he has softened a little bit, and she played a great part in that... and he gave her flowers.
Yeah, the statement could have some truth in it, but without clear evidence, and considering the fact than Mevrik told it...
It remains as the future plans of Scarlett; open ended.

[Meanwhile Zachary, totally not jealous:
"Why the fuck would Jenna be interested in Scarlett if she already has Szurka as a boyfriend? 🤨🤔😒🥺"]
